could, I think, make a BIG difference in 2016 season. They are....
No. 1 Bo Pellini as the DC, a no-nonsense coach who brings disclipine.
No. 2 Guy Moriss as the O line coach, Great teacher, who gets his point across better than anyone we have had as a position coach IMO.
The only question some may have would be recruiting, with Moriss. He could recruit Ky. and would have some in roads in Texas, I am sure.
These 2 hires would really help a very depressed and frustrated fan base, and pump some optimisim into the BBN.

Hasn't coached in 1-A since 2007. Think I'll pass.

Maybe not, but I don't think Guy Moriss has gone senile. He was the O line coach during Mumme's 4 year tenure, he would know the Air Raid O better than any I could think of. His teaching of the position is unquestioned !

JS is not going anywhere so forget about Morris. The incoming Oline is the best class (on paper) in my lifetime and they all love and believe in JS.

I don't think Guy has a chance in heck as long as Mitch is here.

Same here. Mitch has a history of avoiding people that he either has negative dealings or perceives he might deal with negatively. Remember he wouldn't touch Leach because of his associations with Mumme and wouldn't consider Sonny Dykes because Franklin was his OC. This isn't the same situation as UL with Petrino. MB won't go down that path even to fix things. It's no more likely they bring in Morris than it is to bring Mumme in as OC.

Mitch will wait until the buyout becomes affordable and hire a new coach. Until then keep a stiff upper lip

I would throw Chuck Smith in as lb coach although I'm thinking he will retire where he is

And other than Levitt, they are all freshmen. Freshmen who, because of our desperate need for players, will not be redshirted. We have all seen how that typically works out at the college level. Especially at UK.

How about we start by hiring a special teams coach and go from their. Get Hal Mumme in to coach the offense also.

IIRC Guy Morris was rumored to have basically stabbed his head coach in the back to get the head coaching gig for himself. Then bailed the next year for more money and thumbed his nose on the way out. No Thanks!! Hell will freeze over and we'll all ice skate on it before GM will ever be hired here again.

Sylvester Croom is out there...future uncertain with the titans...played in SEC coached in SEC...well respected...

Norm Chow...turned us down once...but perhaps he'd like a nice little retirement gig...the list of skill players he's developed in his career is impressive...dude knows offense and skill players...

George O'leary...built winning competitive programs...may be a solid developer of DL and OL talent...

Randy Shannon...did well for Bielema at Ark...now doing well for florida...has HC experience...knows the southern recruiting trails especially in florida...

these are the types of coaches CMS needs...experienced...

young staffs have their pros...but a new relatively new and young HC needs some battle tested veterans...

I'd throw in either Bradley Dale Peveto or Steve Ortmayer as ST Coordinator. Both were great here, especially Ortmayer.

Well if can't coach any better than it appears he has been it won't matter if we have the old Washington Redskins hogs that blocked for John Riggins .

Stoops needs badly to hire an experienced coach on his staff. Guy Morriss and Bo Pelini both have had Head Coaching experience & would be invaluable to such an inexperienced staff as the current Stoops coaches. If Stoops is ever going to turn UK around, he must hire professional coaches and get rid of rookie coaches that friends or are in their first rodeo to try to coach in the SEC.

Lol at Chow/Ortmeyer. Ortmeyer's like 75 and Chow just turned 70. I'm sure both are itching to get back to the practice field....not.

I only suggested Ortmayer because he would be cheap and would be a vast improvement over nobody.
