People underestimated the "rivalry" factor Dayton had going into the game.
And it also reinforces the fact that you should never, ever, EVER trust the Buckeyes to come through on the big stage.

Thank heavens --- could you imagine the stress that would come with having a perfect bracket over the next 3 weeks?

3 down, 60 to go (I'm booking a Pitt win at this point)

Already spending that cash.

Been my experience that Basketball ...

Is the only thing that separates the two from each other.

Meaning ... I have a Dayton grad in my neighborhood and he is got to be the BIGGEST Ohio State fan in Virginia. Red truck, OSU flag on gameday and his nickname is 'Buckeye Bill.'

BUT, for the next few days, all that OSU stuff is put away and he reverts to a 100% Dayton Flyer fan.

Cincinnati was a little too one-dimensional this season

I picked this upset (with a ton of other people) the second I saw they got the "kiss of death" 5 seed.
You can console yourself with a tropical drink on my yacht when this is all over.
