I can normally see your view points but your hatred of Russell is beginning to look like Stans bashing.</p>

years...seems like every two years they changed. I can tell you that 4A is far more competetive. the top 5A teams are better than the top 4A, but there are a lot more good teams in 4A.

5A is West Point, Ridgeland, Pearl, etc.

I would argue that St. Stanislaus vs. West Point (4A vs. 5A champs last year) would have been an epic game, and either could have beaten any 6A team in the state sans South Panola.

4A is probably more competitive top to bottom (Louisville, Noxubee County), but their is more parity in 5A. There were 6 schools that could have come out of the South 5A bracket last year, for instance.

you know good and well the HS numbers put up by Henig and Favre respectively aren't even close to similar. Henig's HS numbers are paltry compared to what Favre put up. In fact here is a blurb from Henig's signing summary:

"Completed 71-of-149 passes for 1,339 yards, 14 touchdowns and just seven interceptions during his senior campaign" -- not exactly tearing it up.

Now here is Favre's :

"Completed 342 of 529 passes for 5,589 yards and 63 touchdowns passes. Had 1,265 yards rushing along with another 18 touchdowns."

So Favre had nearly as many yards rushing as a HS senior as Henig had passing as a HS senior and OVER FOUR TIMES the passing yardage. In fact, Henig didn't even manage to complete 50% of his passes in HS so PLEASE don't say they both had great numbers in HS because Henig obviously didn't.

Ignorance and spite are not elevated states. The other reply to this post is as though an aardvark achieved a rudimentary mastery of English. He knows a three syllable word that is a putdown. Give the man a beer.

The numbers are numbers. If he was so great why were we the only D1 school to offer a scholarship?
