You've got a 14-day grace period where a player can practice before he's cleared. Seems to me that if you thought there was a realistic chance, you'd have him out there.

...the coaches already know he's NOT going to be cleared. I countered with something like "they've got to be hopeful he's going to be cleared or they would've already sent him to juco". My buddy left it at, well in any case, I know they aren't expecting him at practice any time soon.

First PatPat barely got in last year and now V Sanders doesn't appear to be able to get in. Both chose OM. I guess the "OM Eligibility Plan" has actually ceased to operate like it did just a couple of years ago.
