but I occasionally check to see if there are any free content articles worth reading. I came across the article about Samsel and remembered why he will never get a penny on my money. The article, I believe is still up on the site, talks about how Coach Samsel directs the recruiting process in order to give player and their families an orderly process to select the right team for his kids. At the end, Gene gives a Jerry Springer highly indignant mini lecture which basically says up yours to anyone who doesn't see the wisdom of Samsel's actions. No one is so blind as those who refuse to see--he's a complete idiot.

but it's really hypocritical to ***** about Samsel when they have Bobby Hall at MC.

And yes, I do realize that Hall does not go near the lengths that Samsel does with recruiting, but he does indeed promote Ole Miss and is not bashful about it.

when he was talking about how he can tell that Samsel handles recruiting ethically by the joy in the eyes of recruits and parents, I asked myself why anyone would pay for his articles. I have seen a couple people sign LOIs and they are look happy whether they are signing with a top tier program or if they only had one offer from a small school.

Yep. Those are some happy looking kids right there, particularly Coleman. Grinning ear to ear, or looking pissed off. Same difference. The two guys that look somewhat excited are Robinson (far left) and the white kid that signed with a junior college.

But, I will say this. Stroking Samsel off is a smart move on Gene's
part. MSU has gotten a few players from there under Samsel's watch, and
signed two more this year. At this rate, MSU could eventually, daresay,
surpass the Alabama schools for Samsel's favor.
