I really have no idea why folks watch stuff that pisses them off. You dont have to do things you dont enjoy for leisure.
Absolutely. Same for me with bad service at a restaurant, bad online order, bad car repair whatever etc. If I didn't like whatever it was, I just don't go back, I don't look for a podium to scorch the earth from so everybody knows I'm pi$$ed

I tuned in to watch an NFL pregame show. The performance of the song ended up being part of it.

First one you’ve watched in a half decade or so, or…?

Most of them don't have hour and a half pregames. Btw, I can be a real azz too, but I'm refraining from it very well I think. If you keep being one I might join in.

And I'm generally not passive aggressive when I go negative.

I don't know why that song is now sung at various events. I also don't understand why it's sometimes sung but not always sung.

I figure I missed the meeting when all the commies voted to start having it sung at seemingly random times in an attempt to anger the right while acting holier than thou when faced with criticism.

Seriously...I don't get it. I just stand there and wait in silent confusion until it's over and then go on with whatever I am in attendance to watch/do.
The last time it was sung in person was in late May at a high school graduation ceremony. The National Anthem wasn't sung though.
Go figure.

I don’t have a problem with it. To each his own. It does feel incredibly out of place and I noticed zero people paying attention. Almost feels like it would be humiliating to the person performing.

For those that don’t know why it is sung at NFL games, it became a thing after the George Floyd protests in 2020.
