And there is no sense for any player with comparable options to come to WVU. Why would any player who got offers from UMD, VT, NC ST, or any other decent P5 program come to WVU when its coach freely throws his players under the bus like this?
You've got a group of players whose skill set is certainly not up to par with B12 standards. These are midmajor talents playing college basketball's better teams. Of course they're gonna be outclassed. And then you have your coach, who is never even questioned in the media, go out and talk **** about you.

It's all the player's fault. In all seriousness though, I bet Huggins was counting on having McBride, Culver, and Tshiebwe to build around like he had Jevon and Daxter through their senior seasons. Instead he was left pretty much nothing but Taz and McNeil. Taz has played fairly well when healthy as a focal point. McNeil has crapped the bed in his role. He looked good at times in the second half of last year and his shooting won a few games for use when McBride and Culver were having down games. This year McNeil has regressed. But in any event with just those 2 and neither Cotrell or Bridges being known quantities, Huggins he brought in what he could. Which, outside of Curry, has been a big fat disappointment.

I was playing with the idea to take a get-away day for Day 1 of the NCAA tournament, but with no WVU my interest is pretty low.
