I routinely pick the winner 85-90% of the time over the course of a season in my SEC picks office pool. I'm always near the top, but the pool average is at least 80%. 70% straight up is pretty bad.The system is designed to predict games, and has predicted the winner of Division I-A contests about 70% of the time.
I think it's a typo and should be 100 instead of 10th.
Assuming that the SOS ranking is for the entire schedule and not just the teams that we have played to date, then it should absolutely be that high. Our schedule features games against 5 teams that are currently ranked in the top 10......Arkansas is probably the only other team in the country that can say the same. This is why our 4 OOC games should always be 4 automatic wins.
It's fun that we're so high... but the credibility is gone when Ohio State is 6th.
