An example of the problem with college baseball replay, the angles and replay quality are usually so worthless calls typically stand. You can sort of see the ball in replay but can’t tell if it’s in front of pole, or if ball is visible through the pole. Supposedly in person it looked foul from people in tweets.

Maybe he's corrupt or inept, but the ump is clearly in position to see it very well.

But it damn sho looks fair.

Looks relative clear on my lap top. Fair.
Disappears behind the foul pole.

Probably, but it’s a blurry mess and there’s definitely one frame where I can see the ball blur in the center of the pole. It could be the ball slightly visible through the pole grates.

Maybe put some kind of sensor on the pole that signal when the ball is fair or foul. They have light on hockey nets. If a sensor can withstand a hockey game surely it could withstand a baseball game.

That's a fair ball. Incompetence or corruption? Either way those that should be held accountable get away with no repercussions.

It was also at UGA and none of those fans would admit if it's was fair.

Well.. we are talking about the same review team that 3 weeks ago ejected 20 players for a rough play at the plate.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it. The video has obviously been tampered with.

Wouldn't be so much simpler to just make the foul pole(misnomer by the way) wider? it would be much easier to tell one way or the other, if the screen was 2 or 3 feet wide.

The only people that will catch them cheating and the only people that will speak up and cry foul are the casino sportsbooks. As we saw last year with Alabama baseball.
