North Carolina's bench outscored Mississippi State by itself with 51 points. But they played hard and gave effort! This is what most of you wanted. Enjoy the hustle.

No one wanted this idiot. And there is no way you can try to justify keeping Stan's. He **** his own bed and all this should be laid at his feet. If he did his job we would not be in this position. End of story.

At least we know who the repeat poster, aka Coach99jc, will be now that the season has started. I thought Dawgbreeze may end up taking that role but it looks like you have decided to be the douchebag.

How can you look at the state the program is in and not lay it at the feet of Stansbury?

The program descended into a dumpster fire on his watch. It's not Rick Ray's fault he's responsible for coaching the remaining ashes. I'm a fan of Stansbury and view him pretty much like the Kang, but the state of the program right now just confirms that it was time for him to go. We were going to have to go through a painful transition at some point; might as well start now rather than spending a few more years as a bubble NIT team before starting over.

The fact we are down 3 starters and a top back-up through injuries and suspensions played no part in it did it?

You think Stansbury would have played NC any better last season without Bost, Moultrie, Bryant, and Sidney?

Bury's roster turnover was similar to Calipari in the sense that nobody wanted to play for him for any longer than 2 years. The only problem is while Cal gets 6 players per year to da league, Bury was sending 1 total. This isn't the 97 team that got demolished by Wake due to seniors graduating and 2 stars being drafted in the 1st round. This is from years and years of attrition and bad recruiting. That falls squarely at the feet of Bury.

Congrats on discovering the bold button. Which is more embarrassing? Losing by 46 to one of the best programs in history OR getting national media attention because our players are fighting each other in the 17ing stands? 17 you. 17 Stans. Hail 17ing State.

What about John Cohen? You still think he's the wrong guy for the job? After all, it should always be turned around immediately right?**

Each situation is it's own independent circumstance. The amount of ignorance in your post is astounding.</o

Ultimately we have to get playes, but damn...we got nothing right now. You gotta give the guy a break. It's like poicking up a good high school team and sayin g"Go beat North Carolina". Come on. He will be judged, but this is not the time...at least as far as wins and losses.

^^^^THis. I wanted Stans here for the rest of his career. But when you go making deals with Renardo Sidney.....well then you wrote up your own termination letter.

Last night didn't hurt near as much as watching Sideny fighting on ESPN.

Exactly. The most effort showed last year was Renardo throwing haymakers because Elgin Bailey wouldn't let his fat *** to the hotdog stand.
