The very first reply is me saying no beef with him. Sorry you don’t like the answer you got.
Lenape coach is not a good coach. Don’t need to have a beef with him to say he’s not a good coach.
Just like when I say Pike is a good coach I don’t need to have a personal relationship with him.

Yes defense and rebounding and hustle was mostly optional tonite. A NIT game.
The bigger question i have is 2 years in a row we play a reasonably well played high tempo game and score plenty but our team’s defense is almost unrecognizable. Defense , rebounding and hustle were mostly optional tonight , no diving on the floor. But is it our legs and the grind of the BIG 10 that it just takes too much out of us. Not an ounce of the intensity in the zone like you saw against Michigan or Purdue . No hustle plays or diving on the ball or rebounding like we did in both those games. When we want to turn it up we do during the season but it seems we cannot play that intense defensively by the post season. Curious if it just the guys get worn out.
Now ,. There is a reason we are 352, out of 363 teams in Luck on Kenpom . 2 years in a row ridiculous shooting against us on tough , difficult and sometimes ridiculous banked in shots . Just what happens .
We got enough offense out of Cam , then Caleb and then Derek as we didn’t play through Cliff other than early. He hit good shots not tough shots or difficult shots and shot over 50%. We should have won tonight and last year against Notre Dame ( just by better luck at the end of both ) but the lack of defense , intensity and all out hustle is lacking.
Coach better, better substuitions at games end. use timeouts, match ups. Strategy in situations.better free throw shooters on court in final possessions. Defensive sets on inbounds.somehow he needs to stop repeating Houston,Notre Dame Minnesota , Hofstra endings if he wants to take the next step beyond program building coach tag.
Agree with this take. It seems like this was the most fast break baskets we've given up all season. I guess most Big 10 teams don't play like this which might also explain the league's lask of success in the NCAA tournament of late.
