Things are bad but it's going to get uglier

I'm thinking how bad the locker room will get. Last night was the worst defeat of the year the way it ended.
This isn't Msu baseball, we look awful fundamentally and to me that is the worse sign for any sport which reflects coaching.
Again. it shows MSU athletics isn’t a serious entity right now. In their level of operation, it’s basically a department that oversees a bunch of intramural teams.

Would LSU put up with this for any length of time? Half the time MSU has? Florida State? North Carolina?

MSU baseball of the past is over with the need to focus on football and being the poorest school in the SEC. There's not going to be a hurry to change much but Lemonis seems to be making it easier.

You guys don't have a clue. We can drop everything BUT football, put 100% of our athletic budget and 100% of our NIL toward football and we would still only be a pimple on the a$$hole of the upper teams.in the SEC and even less than that nationally. Baseball is the ONLY sport where we could compete money-wise with the rest of the nation.

I have a feeling State wins tonight and tomorrow or this could be the weekend Fl turns it around on their run to the NC. As for last night I left to walk my dog and it was 3-2. I came back it was 9 to 3. It went south fast. Was it a bad coach's call keeping pitcher in too long? I did see the pitch hitter with bases loaded in 8th. Bringing a guy in cold like that in a big moment like that. I don't know. I question that coaching decision.

Need to really raise prices at Dudy Noble for the outfield spots. MSU baseball has been a drain on MSU Athletics since Cohen was hired. Time for the social club to pay some Tariffs.
I somewhat agree and somewhat disagree. There are people like me who would gladly pay a reasonable amount for a spot and actually attend the majority of the games. I'm one of many who didn't invest time in a spot forty or fifty years ago and sustain it all this time. On the other hand if you raise prices too much the corporations will be the only ones able to afford them. Instead of actual baseball fans you'll have a bunch of bored wives whose husbands are kissing someone's *** and trying to sell something. Not to mention their 2.5 ill mannered rug rats. Be careful what you wish for.

It is going to have to get worse before there is any change that it gets better. If mediocrity continues and we back into the tournament, we are destined for more of the same for the foreseeable future.
If we don’t host or make it to a super he is gone.

no inside info, but I’ll bet on it.

You don’t spend $75 Million to net $2Million in profit.
Those mean social outfield people!!

They teed off in Simmons. We had a misplayed bunt in there (Reese slipped fielding it) but it was pretty obvious Simmons should have been pulled after the 4th batter. I believe he faced 6 hitters, no outs. Not many swing & misses, if any.

Per capita, baseball out draws any other program in the nation. It's been a thing and it will always be a thing. And even with our very sparse population, super bulldog weekend will continue to set attendance records. Some people love MSU baseball more than they love winning. I think that's obvious. The next chapter will start soon. Hang in there ladies.

So, football pays the bills and without it, we're USM at best

I hope they sweep us. I think it’ll officially throw Lemon into the “not coming back” category.

FYI they raised them again to $3400 per lounge, an increase of 1k.
