funny I was just wondering how something like this might be handled if it occurred. The right to peacefully assemble versus orders like this. I bet they let them be.
The people who are afraid to get back to work can continue to cower in their homes. The rest want freedom.
I just don’t understand why people can’t just chill out for a couple months, before acting like our freedoms will never return.
It’s the nanny state. You don’t need to save everyone. We’re literally violating the constitution. If these jackasses want to go get the COVID, so be it. I’m staying put, not because I was told to, but because it’s the smart thing to do. I support those who don’t believe the directives are constitutional though.
Probably because they worked hard to build a life and in some cases businesses and they are being forced to watch it wither away.

I didn't understand what this thread was discussing until I have seen some of these protests going on. I must say it is upsetting. I will again attribute to this type of action to the inconsistent and inaccurate communication that is coming from the leaders of the country which often conflicts with the message governors are saying and trying to execute for the best of all the citizens of the state. And it is just getting worse with the daily WH press conferences and the rhetoric with zero plans and confusing messages that is being put in the public with different media.

One thing that has rubbed a lot of people wrong is calling abortion clinics essential activities, yet shutting down churches to where they can't even do car church.
I understand. Yes, this time needs a little bit more of understanding, patience and perspective by all and we all know that is very difficult.
This has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the Governors of the states where this is occurring. This has to do with people not being able to earn a living. This has to do with people sitting in hours long waits just to get basic essentials for their homes. This has to do with shutting the world down for a month. This has to do with people not liking the Govt interfering in our daily lives, and damn the consequences, screw the nanny state.

Do you think any decision made by the Gov in Michigan (or any other state the enacted mitigation measures) had anything other than public health in mind with the decisions they made during this crisis?
In regards to certain aspects of their "orders", it's not their decision to make. It's mine. They overstepped their bounds.
