We will need just 2 more wins after Wagner to get to a bowl.
Our D is solid and will more than hold its own against any of the remaining IF we can get them the rest they need by controlling the clock on the offense. Although Mich. did a great job in controlling our run game, it had to take some chances by not worrying too much about a passing attack. I was impressed with our QB's calmness in the pocket and his running has to be respected. He had some nice throws.
As I see it, we have 4 legit games to do this. Top of my list is Indiana and MSU. I think we are just a better team than either of them. Playing on the road doesn't seem to bother this team either.
I also think Wisconsin, Iowa and Maryland are decent possibilities. None of them has shown, to date, any great level of play on both sides of the ball. Definitely think we can pull a win out of one of these at least.
This team just looks a lot more solid than the last few years. I expect to see our running attack get even more potent with the return of Brown and Young. Rotating the runners will punish the defenses even more and open up opportunities late in the game. Our QB is still learning on the job, but he is clearly learning!
If the stars align and we can avoid any serious injuries, I would not be surprised to see us easily become bowl eligible.
