Could the radio crew not kill the crowd mic to remedy the situation? Or even just turn it down a little?

Somebody go throat punch him

you would think with the technology available to make the word laurel sound like yanny to some, you would think they would have a way to mix that damn whistler out

Sitting in the outfield and you can barely hear him. It’s really not that noticeable. Much worse on tv

If you had given me a lineup of a hundred random people, those would have been the exact two dipshits that I most likely would have picked out

What a bunch of ignorant, selfish, redneck bastards.

I agree. That selfish redneck bastard shouldn't be making loud noises that annoy their opponents.

Is the irony of a bunch of Mississippi State fans

getting worked up over a couple guys whistling not lost on anyone?

I think the announcers said it best last night. If everyone on the stadium were whistling, it's fine. When one or two are doing it while everyone else is watching the game, its selfish and inconsiderate. If we only had a couple of folks ringing a cowbell it would be the same thing.

Truth. They couldn't have stated it any better than they did last night.

The dude on the left is the one that sits just below the press box to the third base side and is the one making the most noise. The second dude has to use a scooter to get around and sits down the third base line. The dude by the press box is relentless and has maybe 10-12 around him that follow his lead. I think the majority of their fans hate it as well, but the redneck thinks it makes him famous.

There were a few tines my wife was ready to pay me to run up there and choke him out last night!!

You should be able to just tune out that frequency range. This shouldn’t be hard to do. And I don’t understand how these guys are “famous” when these folks have like 500 total fans.

I got home late and flipped it on in the 7th, I didn't notice it. I'm not dialed into every detail of a baseball game though.
