They did beat Tulane and TCU on the road - that New Orleans team has yet to play a home game, which is pretty wild.Jans postgame: “when I saw the film, I knew immediately….”oh lord this is not the New Orleans team we scheduled last year. “They are a good team.” “Trust me” “they are gonna beat some teams”
I don’t keep up with basketball but for those that do….can this team end up with a winning record
At this point probably not, but I’m still holding some small hope they will. We were missing some key guys today. The 13 point comeback late was very nice I will say.I don’t keep up with basketball but for those that do….can this team end up with a winning record?
Maybe this team will rally around the 13 point late game comeback and play better ball here on out.
Both are hurtWhat happened to Euro and Epps? Did they get fed up with being yelled at while Ballard, Achor and Jones continue to play like ****?
8 minutes too many...Achor played just 8 minutes, 0 points, 4 rebounds, 3 fouls. Against New Orleans.
Baseball has many games that can go either way and be easily lost. Basketball has considerably less of these type games, and football has very few. What is a red flag to me so far this year in basketball results only......is an average MSU team would beat SEL and New Orleans by about 20-30 pts. And how we even hung with Houston in that exhibition game is beyond me. Cougars must have slept walked through it.State on pace to pay eleventy billion in buyouts from Sixpack wanting to fire every coach on campus. Cant wait to see this place when OConner drops a game they should win.
With what we’ve suffered through in football & now inn basketball, baseball better win the World Series. Not the College World Series, the World Series.Basketball is sacrificial lamb to the gods of "elite" college baseball.
For some reason, we had him guarding their most active offensive player in the second half. I'm not sure why you don't put Jones on that guy and wear his *** out. Hubbard needs to conserve energy to be there at the end.Something is up with Hubbard missing that many free throws.
I thought McGhee (sp?) looked good last night. That would make it a small lineup, but right now I would put him and JDF as the other two starters.team is still straight *** but they are not quitters I’ll give them that. We have 3/5 of lineup with Hubbard, Epps and Ali. Gotta get something figured out in the post but nice job gutting that one out as 24 point favorites
All I know is after another disappointing football season and seeing the basketball product we apparently have, I have never looked forward to a baseball season more.Basketball is sacrificial lamb to the gods of "elite" college baseball.
