Well to be fair to all of us...there wasn't any sports for a long time...and when it returned there was a lot of BurnLootMurder influence. You...I...and others kept posting though.

This board would be fine if we got rid of trolls like Rootmaster. All he does is complain and probably sits around yelling at the tv while watching cable news channels. I just hope he pays more than $750 dollars in taxes and at least pays his taxes every year.
Now you know why the folks on the other board lock the threads and ban people in a heart beat.

Actually, it's a brilliant move by Vernon. I wonder if he's seen an uptick in subscriptions to the Blue Lot because of the garbage here? It has certainly chased some away from the free board. Kudos Vernon......
Wow. I wasn't censured in any post. I just got tired of the pecker measurement style posting. But I can see that it's a pipe dream to think sports would actually be talked on a sports board.

Ironically, more than 65% of the names on your ignore list ended up being outed as the same person with 26 profiles. Likely, it's closer to 90%-95%, if we only knew.
I still find the MMB to be very readable without these posters, though I spend most of my time on the Blue Lot. It's still the best money I spend all year.

Sports are no longer about sports, either..we warned everyone. This is the new normal. Sports are just a vehicle for political dialogue.

The team is wearing political symbols on their uniforms, the Head Coach in Name Only is tweeting political ********, the AD is organizing political diversity committees and firing coaches because they aren't liberal - and you are worried about MY opinion?

NB doesnt support people that kill cops but he supports justice and equality for people of color as should you. If you knew what these movements stood for then you would understand. One the big questions that came out of tonights debate from the Left and Right wing Pundits is why Trump failed to condemn racisim. So why did he fail to condemn it?

Unhappiness with the partisan ********. Unhappiness with virtue signaling. Unhappy with white supremacists. Unhappy with MSM molding the minds of the weak. Unhappy with wearing A mask everywhere. I literally could keep going on.
WVU has a decent team without a legit star QB. Unless you are Bama, you can only go so far as your QB can take you.
when we win, this is a happier board.
This will not be a winning year. A winning WVU team would really boost morale. Instead we are stuck with a PC coach, a PC AD and an extremely PC President. So it’s all the bad stuff and none of the good.
The up side is that this team will be a lot better next year. Brown can coach. We need a new OC and DC. I think that happens this offseason. The PC ******** should help recruitin....it had better.
Emotionally, this is a throw away season. I’m investing in what looks like a really good Steelers team and riding this one out. Next year will be better. The Wuhanvirus will be handled. We won’t have another significant election until 2022 and Brown will be more settled in. I’m frankly OK with WVU FB mediocrity this year. It kind of fits a for-**** 2020.

Vernon is legit but no thanks to joining the blue lot where everyone circle jerks Shane Lyons and Neal Brown.
Yikes, you swung and missed with that post. Lyons isn't highly regarded at all by a large number of people on the Blue Lot. I don't necessarily agree with all of their reasons but you completely missed that one. Brown has good support, as he should for a guy at the beginning of his second season, but we're already seeing a lot of complaints. I didn't think he got the support he should have (on the board) last year and definitely not this year. You'll need to find another complaint about that board because you just didn't hit this one.
He would be ok with teams being "political" if they had "MAGA" sticker on their helmet. Or sponsored by the NRA.
The swing and a miss is having no mods on this board. But I do get it that hits mean something no matter what they are.
We don't have time to monitor the board, to be honest. Long ago you could have community leaders but they generally get a big head and go too far. I try to check in a few times a day over here but I don't get too worked up about what goes on. The majority of bigger sites have shut down their free boards because of the trouble but I would at least like to provide a place for those that don't find enough value in subscribing. Maybe my thinking is wrong on that.
Without some sort of oversight unmonitored boards always get out of control. This board used to be very good at times. Used to be a complete dumpster fire. Too bad that some of the posters turn threads into a pissing contest ...... mostly with less than a handful of posters.
Understandable that some mods turn into tyrants. Then some boards have mods that keep things under control as much as they can. But always a board that is a dumpster fire doesn't give the freeloaders enough value to believe the pay site will be any better.

Allow a volunteer mod to lock a thread when it gets out of hand but don't give the power to delete threads or ban users. But I can see where that could get sticky as well. Best way to stop it is shut it down. Or we as user can just ignore heck out of those that see who can piss the furthest.
