This Brassell situation continues to get stranger

Matthew Stevens, of the Starkville Daily News, is now saying that someone close to the situation has assured him that Brassell and Market didn't commit. Granted it is the damn Starkville Daily News, but there is certainly some interesting things going on behind the scenes.

They might be rethinking their committments, but I know for a fact that they did commit last night. Somethin' is up.

If I was Joe Price or Market, I would tell Nutt to go !!%+ himself.

He reads the CL beat, and then reports the same thing 5 seconds later and blames it on a "source"

or so it certainly seems.

I'm not one to ***** about people buying players and etc, but today definitely has been interesting.</p>

if the Scout and Rivals sites are showing it with quotes from both guys. Its just too strange for two reputable recruiting sources to report it there wasnt smoke there.

Here is what went down: Lance Pouge was not'informed of the decision' last night and didnt like it one bit today when the other reporters , newspapers started calling . He went as far as to tell Todd Kelly that , no , Brassell and Market did not commit. Pogue knows the history of the South Panola pipeline to Oxford, and is trying to deter any distractions his team might have the rest of the season . He also might know some alums who are in the 'people heppin business' and could hepp ole Brassell out. I think its about to get ugly boys
