Absolutely %%*%*%% terrible. For the record, I don't mind the colors (I can pretend it's a pens board), but it is absolutely killing the eyes.

considering most designers know that the best color combination for human eyes is yellow words on a black background. Now, it's ugly as **** which is why it is never used but that is supposed to be the best for the human eye. I think you just hate change.

I can use meaningless, unfounded phrases to support my opinion, too. God said the board should be maroon text on a white background. I think that's in Psalms somewhere.

Why not white background with black and gold everything else? But hey, it's your board. When you run something, you get to call the shots.

so yeah. Most designers. See, you had to go and point to the Bible so now I'm going to need the verse #.

Art major checking in. Technically speaking, black and yellow ranks right up there at top of the list of color combinations with best contrast. That's why it's used in highway signage. More importantly, its visibility holds up with color blind individuals.<div>
</div><div>When speaking of printed text, black type on white "looks right" to most people, primarily because that's what you become accustomed to looking at all your life. Light type on a dark background fatigues the eye rapidly, scoring much lower in terms of reading comprehension and retention.</div><div>
</div><div>Enough of the color theory, I like the black and gold theme in the spirit of supporting the loyal Saints fans who have waited patiently for their shot at a trophy. I share the pain, having grown up in Jackson watching Archie and the Saints get the crap beat out of them all those years. It's time.
