OK, assuming we lose to Bama (anything can happen but I think that's a safe bet), there could possibly be a four way tie for the west that requires, if my math is right, a few non-impossible scenarios to unfold:

Arkansas wins out (SC, Vandy, LSU and State)
LSU beats Bama and the Bears, loses to Ark
Bama beats Auburn and State, loses to LSU
Auburn loses to Bama and The Bears (OK not really) and Georgia

If that happened, Ark, LSU Bama and Auburn would all be 6-2. What a mess.

Not to mention a national championship mess.

We win out
LSU loses to Alabama and wins all other games
Alabama loses only to us
Auburn loses to GA and Alabama

Four way tie with Bulldogs involved

Then record against common opponents. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that before they go to who is ranked higher they go to record in your own division. If Bama were to beat Auburn and lose to us and have some crazy 4 way tie, Bama would have the upper edge since one of their losses would havebeen outside the SEC West. </p>

Just pointing out the scenario where we are involved. I certainly think we would not win the tiebreakers, but we would be the only team to win out from this point. And we could have a Yogi championship.

The tie breaker works like this (I think)

They take the head to head. If no tie is broken, they take the record within your division. If still no tie is broken, they take the record vs. the opposing division. If still no tie is broken yet, they take the record vs. the best opponent in the opposite division. If still no tie is broken, they go to a coin flip. This was the way it was in 2000 when it was us, LSU, adn Auburn. We lost to LSU, Auburn beat LSU, and we beat Auburn. No tie broken because it's circular. We needed Auburn to win so we would stay in the loop though, because LSU had the head to head tie breaker against us. We beat Our records within our divisions were tied, but we beat Florida who won the East. So as long as Auburn had won out, and we did too, we would have gone to the SEC Championship game.

Hell that seems complicated but I learned something. I say if we were to win out which is possible in college football today and we end up in a tie breaker.....just give it to us we'vebeen throughenough
