This guy reminds me of a heavier looking Dietrick Slater(link)

I thought they looked so familiar I had to go and look him up. I just knew he was going to turn and the back of his jersey would say Slater, like a cousin or something. Maybe we should start doing look-a-likes for basketball
He was shot 5 times all over his body before college. He was stabbed multiple times while in college. And he hadwhat was effectively a total stoppage of his heart where he was medically dead for a bit.
His parents abandoned him over a decade ago, he used to be in the top10 of one of the most talented HS classes in the last 25 years, he still has bullets in his body, and he is the first in his family to graduate.
The guy is a 17up for putting himself in some of the situations where he has been hurt, but he is clearly an uber-talented player with an incredible personal drive.
And yep, his eye lids are as heavy as Slaters!
