All the tiktok addicts are saying "take a sip, you'll love it".

Can't live a life without tiktok or a $1000 digital dope portal in your pocket

Who would ever do that... Live without 5000 hits daily of the best digital dope in the world... I mean, right? Boomer

Be cool like the digital dope addicts

All that to say, awesome video. Glad videos can be shared here in a browser.

No twitter or instagram?
It was more a comment on the amount of blue hairs we have in the stands. I don’t know why they wouldn’t post it to those other platforms unless they’re getting flagged for the use of “Dream On”.

That one is about to go away in the US.
I hate to bring up a topic that has the potential to start a political pissing match, but I have to ask this. Can someone give me the Cliffs Notes version of why TicTok is seen as a threat to national security? There are very few things that I have ever seen on the platform that was not pointless ********. It seems like paranoia run amuck to me.

China is using it as a backdoor to your phone and also controlling the algorithm on what you see (aka, controlling the narrative of what you see as a psychological opp). 1) someone downloads TicTok on a phone with sensitive information = bad. 2) China controlling the narrative of what young Americans see = Bad

It’s China owned and controlled. The platform has enormous influence among the young in the US.

I downloaded TikTok just for the sole purpose of opening links sent to me in TikTok by people I knew. Never had any intention of using the platform.

One day out of curiousity, I just opened the app directly, and was surprised to see that even though I had absolutely no followers or accounts that I followed, I still had a “feed” full of some of the most random crap ever. I then apparently started getting notifications on my phone saying “XYZ who you interacted with on TikTok posted an update”. I clicked the notification, it was someone I’d never heard of, posting some crap I didn’t care about. Apparently, just scroll-viewing content counts as “interacting”.

After that, I just deleted that shít immediately. And get off my lawn.
