2 possible scenarios:

1 - Sidney is having to earn back a starting position and is thus going up against Moultrie on the B squad

2 - Rick is trying to both of their games by having them go against each other. (We aren't deep with bigs, Wendell and the Latvian probably struggle
vs Sidney andMoultrie)

Neither fits his ideal 4 (see below for illustration):

Are you saying Tayshaun Prince is his ideal 4, or Turner and whoever #21 is in the first picture. If it's the second set, you need to add this one too.

You've got to build some chemistry. It takes time to get to know someones game and it's different playing against them versus playing with them.

I'm on the "This is a screw-up" side of the argument.

Who the hell would guard those two in practice. But Stans is and idiot, so nothing is impossible.... It really didn't help things much that the RSS went to Houston instead of Europe.

That was sarcasm right? I have not seen many unranked teams in the discussion for a national title. Much less a team picked to finish 5th in the SEC.

I was going for Stans's All-Undersized-Power-Forward team. I didn't realize that I had two UK #21's in the picture (I think thelatter is Stevenson) - just a coincidence.

Maybe I should've used this picture for the first guy:

With that depressing list of sub-6'3" power forwards... Vincent just made a meteoric rise from my top20 all-time favorite MSU players to a solid member of my top10.

makes perfect sense. He throws the ball in. Lolly gags down the court, posts up on the top of the key, sets a pick (just go ahead and forget about the roll part, unless it is the kind you eat), then waits on the 3 point line to jack one up as the shot clock is expiring.

today Bost was asked about a national title (by a reporter) and he responded- "National championship is a reasonable expectation, but we got alot to prove to the college basketball world" <div>
</div><div>There wont be any reporters asking the Mississippi Bears, Aubarn Tigers, or LSU Tigers about a national championship being a possibility this season</div>

Gholar, Tang, Slater, Harper, Turner..........

The stand-around-the-perimeter and shoot a 3~ *or give it to Jamont/Randy (Holy **** typing that brings back awful memories)/Dee/Devilleto "Create" with 6 seconds left on the shot clock*~ offensedoesn't function well with two large bodies on the court at the same time. The reasonis because itallows theopposing team to crowd the lane with the two big guys standing around near the goal therebymaking it harder for the creator to drive the lane in the final 3 seconds of the shot clock.

The correct answer is to have Lewis/Sidney play the 5 and Moultrie play the 4 with a little help fromwhomever. We should have our two best players (Sid & Moultrie) on the court at the same time as much as possible. However this would require coaching on the offensive end, you know appropriate spacing, good substitution patterns, movement without the ball, plays, etc.....

My betis we see Moultrie and Sidney rotate at the 5 a good bit of thegame and Wendell Lewis will get to eat a poo poo sandwich while the European or some other random player comes in to fill the role at the 4.I also think we see way more of Bryant than we should, or at least than I would prefer.Stans always likes to pick someone to bust the balls of (sometimes deserved, sometimes not) and I feel like this year it will be Lewis.

Bryant is going to be this year's Benock for me. Leadership, hustle, decent defense, poor shooting, all the while Deville Smith sits the bench.

Please get the best players on the floor together and coach them.....please.

Curious what Columbus Dawg thinks of these potential glitches in our upcoming season?

He deserves a little credit for how hard he played. By the end of the season he was ***-whooped completely by having to give up about 50 lbs in every game he played. Turner did this at about 175-180 lbs too. Unreal.

Stans teams drive me bananas. They play so poorly before new years eve. But this year is gonna be a a good one only because my gut says it will be. Round of 32 in ncaa's, maybe sweet 16. Sorry, I hate Stans too, but it shall come to pass this season and his era will remain. Hopefully he can build on it. Moultrie is very good, Bost is awesome, Hood is a phenom.

While I agree, what should really bother you is when they bring the ball down the court and don't know what the hell to do. That bothers me about 50 times per game.
