Quite frankly they should be embarrassed. These are still universities first and foremost.

They aren't. Their school is still ranked highly.

They just play the game very well. They control the message, not letting the message control them.

RU should take notes.

They are on academic probation for one year via the accreditation agency in the region, and it will likely be extended for an additional year, with the additional "self-reported" academic missteps, post - Wainstein Report. The NCAA COI punishment is expected to be handed down in March. The reckoning cannot come soon enough.

Mind you, UNC is still proudly strutting, offering no self-imposed punishment for its 20-plus years of cheating. Today's FB and BB teams were built on those ill-gotten victories. Their tradition of athletic excellence is a sham. Will be interesting to see how the national media avoids or skirts the COI's pending judgement, as the Heels likely make their way into the ACC championships in FB and BB.

Fridge and 4 year starter at QB

Add on 200 yds from Hicks. It is amazing though to see the difference. We smoke their asses and here we are in complete disarray whereas they picked up the pieces and turned it around big time. Granted they are a fvcking disgrace to everything and should be ashamed of themselves, but clearly no one gives a ****. So I'm jelly. Everyone else can just do whatever the hell they want; break laws, foster pedophiles, bang hookers day and night, rewrite the book on academic fraud and no one gives a crap.

It's ridiculous to think of the amount of attention USC received for Reggie Bush's family getting a house to live in versus UNC's outright academic fraud over 2 decades.

I know this means nothing to the goobers that think USN&WR is a valid measure of a schools worth, but this is a huge deal to academics. It is an unheard of level of sanction for a major school. This sort of thing typically only happens to small schools that hard up and cancelling journal subscriptions in the library and shorting faculty pay checks.

The face of the school is its sports and UNC is at the top.

In football they opened up their wallet and paid $700k for Chizik as their Def Coordinator. That certainly has helped their assent.

UNC us delivering where it counts. They controlled the message unlike RU.

Just like the pats, their winners.
