Pelphrey loses his five starters, and he goes 2-14 in a really crappy SEC. LSU didn't even lose all of their starters from last year, they still have Tasmin Mitchell. And they are horrible. HORRIBLE. They lost at home to Auburn last night. Just let that sink in. Bama also destroyed them by about 20. I'd say Stans is a much better rebuilder than either of those two.

Pelphrey's wins over Oklahoma and Texas last year balance out those 3 SEC wins difference...bragging about going 5-11 is really ridiculous, especially when you have losses to SE Louisiana, Akron, and Northwestern St

The case for Stansbury being a "better rebuilder" is 2007 which will more than likely be better than UPig's seasons this year and LSU's next year

Do you really think that beating Texas and Oklahoma offsets going 2-14 in the SEC? That is some major league trolling right there.
Again last season we had three new starters who had either never played or barely played at State before plus Barry Stewart and Jarvis Varnado. I think anyone could have understood if had gone 5-11 in the SEC but we didn't because other than the one season you like to point out Stansbury has not allowed us to sink to the level of suck that many of our SEC brethren have.

beating Texas and Oklahoma offsets 5-11 in the SEC vs 2-14 primarily because I dont see much difference in 5-11 and 2-14- both are ******...whereas you like to look at the Conference as most important and then the rest of the schedule, i look at OOC being 50% and SEC schedule being 50%...I think they are of equal importance due to the fact both affect where you are heading come March

"Johnson knows this, so he isn't taking shortcuts that will give short-term gratification at the expense of long-term building. It's why he left scholarships in his hip pocket last year that were used for a talented early signing class this year. Consistently landing classes like this one, currently rated as the nation's 12th best by ESPN, is what builds a program to win consistently."
