What else can ESPN talk about or cover? The Yankees over the Orioles? Who cares?
Uhhhh...me? Call me crazy, but I long for the olden days when SportsCenter was made up of highlights, stats and interviews. Now it's about 25% that and 75% sponsored segments and in-studio banter/opinion. July is a slow month for sports, but baseball is played every night. Unfortunately most of America is not like me (your loss, America) and is happy and content seeing all this NBA free agency babble or the Budweiser Hot Seat or Who's Next or the Coors Light Whatever they sponsor or two reporters arguing back and forth in a pre-determined pseudo-argument. Meanwhile, I am tuned in to the MLB Network watching live lookins of actual games, hearing stats, and getting current scores of you know, sports games.
