...yet you are a huge Kobe fan who will never leave L.A and their 91 million dollar payroll. Give me a break. Why doesnt Kobe go off and join a smaller team with no superstars and see what he can do?

I am a Laker fan. If Kobe leaves he can kiss my ***. All I am saying is that I like the old days better when players were identifiedwith the teams they were on. When you heard Bird you thought Celtics. Magic=Lakers. Jordan=Bulls. Ewing=Knicks. Wilkins=Hawks. Dr. J=Sixers.

All of these players do it, yet you seem to ignore the ones you pull for. If the Lakers would not have gotten him some help and a big contract he would have bolted form LA. Just like Lebron is doing

you can't win alone.

Weren't the Nets in the ABA when Dr. J played for them?

Pippen wasn't **** without Jordan. Great players make good players look like All Stars. I will even admit that James Worthy would have been forgettable without Magic.

Anyway, Antawn Jamison is a career 20 ppg scorer and a two time NBA All Star. Mo Williams has been to an All Star game. The Cavs do have some talent on their roster but they need a point guard or someone to pair with Williams in the back court.

Would you be feeling this way if he was going to the Lakers to join Kobe?

No different than with Odom. His best years are way behind him but he still is a solid contributor. I would love for them to get Jamison.

As far as Karl Malone goes, he was way, way, way past his prime when he went to L.A. I was not crazy about him going there because I thought they should have gone with younger players instead of trying to get a cheap title with guys that would only be there a year or two. The difference with LeBRon is that he is still in his prime.

is that players shouldn't have any freedom, while in their prime, to pick where they want to play. I mean, if it isn't personal bias with Lebron, then you pretty much have to say that Bosh and Wade are in the same boat. Oh, and so was Shaq for running down to Miami to team with Wade for a championship. So was Drexler for going to Houston. Garnett and Allen for going to Boston. Where was your outrage then? Or are you just pissed off at a 1 hour program that you could easily just not watch.

For some reason I think you would be thrilled to have Lebron coming to the Lakers. And I am guessing you dont like Pau because he whined enough to get traded out of memphis because he didnt get any help and wanted to win a championship. And he didnt leave there because he wasnt getting paid. he was a max player

Worthy was a good player and one of my all time favorites but no way he would have been the player he was without Magic. He would have been good in the same vein as say Mark Agguire or Tom Chambers. He just would not have been seen as Big Game James without Magic on the team. I am not saying Worthy would have sucked by any means..

Winning titles changes the perception of players. Look at the Lakers now.People think they are just loaded with talent butArtest, Odom, and Fisher are all past their primes but Kobe is able to take the load off them. He makes them look better than they are. How many guys on the Lakers would be seen as hot free agents if they were on the market?

I just finished reading this takedown piece minutes ago.
Then there's this piece: On a night when LeBron James became the most hated man in basketball, only one network had a chance to ask him tough questions about a decision that will shape the future the NBA. And, of course, they didn't do that.

This particular Boys & Girls Club happens to be right down the street from a Rolls Royce dealership, and is one of two clubs between Bristol and New York.

Those trust fund kids in Compton, Detroit, Miami, Cleveland definitely don't need the money.

LeBron's people just picked the most convenient charity to try to lessen the PR blow.

Do you work for the Boys & Girls Club or something? Thats not the point. Having an hour special on your "Decision" ...........while you sit on a stage and have 20 mins of highlights of yourself before during and after your "Decision" isabsolutelyrefuckingdiculous. People are killing him today.<div>

how much NBA do you watch anyway? It seems everyone I hear complaining about this doesn't watch it at all pretty much.

My dislike for LeBron has nothing to do with him leaving Cleveland.
