When people wake up and find out the Sidney news, they are going to be pissed. I am just glad I could end an otherwise good day with bad news as opposed to starting off my Saturday with that garbage. Im sick of this saga, I am sick of Don Jackson and I am sick of the NCAA. Quite frankly, I do not know where to lay blame, so I will blame both parties. Don Jackson should stop playing a lawyer guessing game and hand over the requested documentation. On the flip side, the NCAA should be specific in their allegations because it is unfair to Mr. Sidney, the current basketball players at Mississippi State and the coaches at Mississippi State. This "not enough information" should not be enough to cut it.....but unfortunately, it is.

We're still pretty damn good. No question, Sidney makes us a Final Four caliber team, but without him, I still have extremely high expectations. There will be some that'll say, "Well look at what Washington did to us after all that momentum." And that's a fair assessment. We got really hot in Tampa then came back to Earth a little in Portland and got our asses handed to us. But our entire team is a year better.

There's no telling how improved Dee Bost is going to be. That guy was a freshmens last year and made big plays. Kodi had his best off-season yet to compliment his ridiculous range of game. Randy's fighting to get his first name back and should be a steady Senior. Jarvis is going after an all-time NCAA record and wants to win championships in the process. I don't know if you've noticed, but Swat usually gets what he wants. Phil also had his best off-season and should be one of the peskiest guards in the league, not to mention someone who's clutch as ****. We can score at will from the outside and have the bodies to stay fresh in the paint. If Rick gets this team playing with the kind of defense and rebounding he's known for, this team can beat anybody. We're deep, experienced, and most of all... talented. We're still going to win 25+ games.

F*ck the NCAA. F*ck Kentucky. Bring it.

We get to hear cowbell9's response tomorrow or sometime.......or perhaps never.

And in all honesty, I still do not believe this thing is over. They did not rule him inelgible. However, as time passes, the odds decrease. In my opinion, Jackson will play a lawyer game as long as he can and this thing will never end.

This really opens the door for Kodi and Osby to shine.

I don't think he should be banned.

From what I understand, this board supports spreading rumors whether they are based in truth or not.

A healthy dose of skepticism is helpful in times like these.

is instead of banning people who make stupid comments, we ridicule them just like our forefathers did with the gallows in public. I think this is how George Washington and Ben Franklin intended America to be.

Plus, I would miss cb9. He's a staple here.

I hope he has been banned. His posts make us all dumber.
For what? We have all been wrong before. And to make things worse, he still has yet to be ruled inelgible. So why it may not seem like it at this moment, there is still a chance Sidney could play for us. I do not think he will, but hell, who knows?

But I think we can all agree there is a difference between discussing a rumor or being wrong and the sheer douchebaggery of cowbell9 over these past few weeks. I don't want him to be banned because he has become the SixPack's very own Rosebowl. He should be forced to stay and be taunted for the rest of his natural life. Banning him would be too kind.

he wasn't the only one who reported the rumor. Rosebowl himself said the same thing.

I don't know if Don Jackson lead the coaches on, or if the NCAA led the Sidney's and Jackson on or what happened.

I highly suspect that this is a case of Don Jackson shooting off his big mouth again. I wonder how long it's going to take the dumbass to figure out that he needs to doctor up some bank statements to get Sidney cleared.
