I believe it has something to do with the advertising that helps keep the site going and is eventually going to let DS build the ultimate Man Cave. My guess is some people don't want to advertise with a site that is dropping F-bombs right and left, which makes some sense to me. I vaguely remember when it happened but I can't be 100% sure this is the reason, I wasn't paying too close of attention. I just let the auto-correct pick up and fix the %@$%*@! things.
