Move over, Stewart Patridge. Slide on down, 3rd string So Car QB that beat us on that pass in 2000. Make room, Derek Abney.

image I've seen since watching Cory Peterson slide to the ground catching that ball in 1997. Probably the most depressing home loss since then for me now that I think about it.

The sad thing is that at the point of contact with Chad Jones, I am almost positive that the ball was still on its way up.

And I have to agree with the other poster, Chad Jones has moved to #3 most hated behind the Peerless Price/Tee Martin combo.

I don't know.... We lost a game to Arkansas where Dante got stuffed on the goal-line about 4 straight after botching a game-winning field goal attempt. It was also sleeting throughout the entire game. Very depressing.

he was under pretty decent pressure - he's wrapped up an instant after releasing that pass.

I don't know what this play looked like on film because I cannot bear to watch a replay yet. Just wish I could forget this ever happened.

up somewhere near the "T" or "E", then game over. No need to jump ball, just fake the middle, roll right and flick the ball. TD.

Who cares what he could have run. You lob the damn ball to the top of the T and he goes and gets it game over. My view in section F it looked like he threw it on a rope right at him. I am still pissed. Every play on this set of downs had something royally messed up about it.
