I received in an email, I asked for the link but it's a premium site I believe. CGK is the wide receiver coach that Auburn fans hate. I think the BBQ gang is Tub's coaches that are clueless (read McCorvey). I have no clude what PTPB is. This is the kind of stuff I've been hearing about Tubs for two years.

Having worked for CTT's staff, this delay makes sense....

Long time reader, first time poster. As CGK's assistant from 2003-2006, you could say I spent a little bit of time around the offensive staff. And before you ask, yes, I had to help run those crazy drills ya'll have been asking about for years. And no, CGK is not as incompetent as you think... he's much more incompetent than that. I used to read the Bunker just to laugh at the misinformation that was being passed around but now that I'm off the Plains I appreciate the addicting nature of this place and somehow find myself looking for reliable news here.

I have no source with the PTPB (know who you're referring to but don't know what that stands for) and have no inside information on what's going on with the situation right now other than the few remaining players I worked with. I'm posting this only to offer some hope and tell you that based on what I saw from CTT, this delay makes perfect sense in a scenario that ends with him leaving.

I was on the offensive head-sets in 03 for Nallsminger (much bigger circus than any of you can imagine), again in 04 and 05 with CAB, and witnessed the CTT and CDG fall-out after we couldn't stop BC and the Badgers in Orlando. I say all of this only to emphasize the fact that based on everything I saw in those four years, CTT will always have the BBQ Gang's back. When they disagreed with CAB, CTT had their back. When they disagreed with CDG, CTT had their back. And as abrasive as CTF was, I can only imagine the "Border War" within the complex. I've said for years that he is loyal to a flaw and does not know enough about the offensive side of the ball to realize how incompetent some of those assistants are. He waits for their reports and makes decisions based on that. I truly believe he is fighting to save as many of them as he can and it just might cost him his job. Heck, he's probably realizing that they couldn't have another D-1 job without him...

....that nobody around here speaks paragraphs in that gawdawful incomprehensible acronym-speak that so many sports boards tend to favor. I have no idea what that said.

Not so loyal with the coordinators - obviously.

Supposedly, Tubby wanted to keep his longtime assistants around for ten years so they will be vested in the Alabama state employees retirement system.

And, yes, to those assistants he is most certainly "loyal to a flaw."
