Butch Bits!!!....JOB and Tobias
Regarding JOB and LSU...Trent Johnson, who JOB REALLY likes, zeroed in on Johnny in the middle part of the summer in a commonly used AAU tactic. One of LSU's BIGGEST basketball names, along with his entourage and agent were given the assignment of luring Johnny to LSU at camp/tourney. The ploy was, "Come to LSU and be like me. And my agent will do for you, what he's done for me." Johnny hasn't been the same since. It really helps a school to have big names in the NBA, especially when they're willing to recruit for you.

Tobias Singleton...His private commitment to MSU should not be a surprise to many here. Wednesday MSU solidified the package deal. Friday night Mullen and Hudspeth flew to the MC/Murrah game. Hudspeth and Coach Hall are tight. His son, Will, played QB for him at North Alabama. He sent word to Tobias to watch Chris Bumphis play on Saturday and that he would play that role for them next year. Bumphis touched the ball early and often, even lining up at QB several times for the first time. The MSU staff calls Tobias "Percy", as in Harvin. Things could certainly change. Word is that MC assistant coach and former MSU WR Bernard Euell will be the Head Coach at Madison Central within the next 6 months. He is a tremendous influence on Tobias and Joe, which is a problem for us. Coach Hall may be at West Alabama next year, or elsewhere. Lots of rumors here but won't get into that.

Tobias will be of no influence on Brassell. Nick will be at Ole Miss, and is the better of the 2. Tobias must get tougher. Nick is tough as nails.

2. Bernard Eulls chances of not getting retained at Madison Central are much greater than him staying on, much less taking over the head coaching job for Bobby Hall.

3. Madison has a new school that is branching off that is going to be called Germantown High school and if anything, Eulls would be going there but there are a half of a dozen candidates that they are more likely to hire than Eulls.


**How do I know this? Because this comes straight from someone as high on the Madison County board that could get. This person is outraged at your false rumors and called to inform me that you were making false allegations about their program.

**Me personally, I think you enjoy spreading anything negative that pertains to Ole Miss because you are a fan of a rival school or you simply like to see how much mud you can throw on the wall and see what sticks because you get a kick out of being miserable

Either way, you are teetering on being banned from our site because I am not going to put up with someone that gets their kicks out of starting a panic rumor everyday by yourself, whether you are a fan of Ole Miss' or not.

that Yancy has to be about 12 years old. Its almost like because some guy posts a rumor as he understands it that's not working in OM's favor that Yancy wants to take him outside and fight him over it. There was absolutely nothing in RebelButch's post that was derogatory to OM in any way. Grow up Yancy!

Bobby Hall just may not be around at year's end. He has painted himself into a morally challenged corner....AGAIN.

I'd forgotten about the Hall/Hudspeth connection. I'd have figured the Hall/Ole Miss connection was much tighter though.<div>
</div><div>But under Hudspeth Will Hall did win the Division II version of the Heisman. And Will is the OC right now at West Alabama.</div>

And I guarantee you that my Madison sources are more reliable than Yancy's.

I will say this about those rumors- I wouldn't be shocked if Hall is gone after this year. He may stay. It's all up to Mike Kent, unless Hall decides to go college ball. A LOT of people want Hall gone. Not all, but a lot. I know that Madison has a reputation of being "uppity" but Hall's arrogant attitude has rubbed a LOT of people the wrong way. Yeah, Coach Justice had his moments, but at least Justice could be humble as well.

I would be very surprised if Bernard Euell is the next HC of MC though. I'm not sure if he has any HC experience or not, and I'm not sure if he has even been a coordinator. That would be a little bit of a questionable move. Should Hall leave, I'd like to see MC go after Teddy Dyess at Philadelphia or someone like Nevil Barr at Oak Grove or try to talk Ricky Woods out of retirement. Euell being the HC at Gluckstadt makes more sense than MC- I have no clue if that will happen or not, though. Gluckstadt should be able to hire a pretty good, experienced coach if they wanted to as well.

No one in Madison knows where Tobias is really headed to, but the rumor is State has a slight lead right now. I knew that if Joe Price got an offer from MSU, he would go to MSU, which has now happened. I don't know if not knowing if Tobias will go to MSU or not is bad or not, but I will say this- everyone in town knew that Carlton Martin and Byron Bennett were going to Ole Miss about this time of year. Same with Spencer, Espy, and Bobo. Most thought that Buckles would go to MSU until about Jan or whenever he committed to Ole Miss. Last year it was rumored that Tobias was a lock for Ole Miss, and that has obviously changed.

Also, I think the new high school is going to be called Gluckstadt High School- not Germantown.

If Hudspeth lands Tobias Singleton, he should get recruiter of the year.

The colors and mascot are next. My kids are going to the new school and I know the folks on the committee. Bobby has a problem and it might be getting bigger.</p>

LOL. Someone told me awhile back that "it will NOT be named Germantown. It will be called Gluckstadt."

They got really upset when I called it Germantown. I was like "OK! sorry!"

Do you know when the colors and the mascot will be chosen?

I don't know. My hope is that he would come back if offered enough money. (MC homer voice talking here) All he would have to do is recruit Prep and JA for a QB instead that entire northeastern part of Mississippi.

And Madison has Hamil's.

an article in the mc herald from october 4 said "A committee of students will select the school mascot and colors in the coming months."

is on that committee. I am covertly pushing for either Green Bay Packer or San Franciso 49er colors. I have no idea on the mascot as that appears to be a problem Einstein can't solve, oh wait the Rebs aren't having any problem with it.

Since Madison copies everything else, go with red and white and call them the Red Devils. It's worked fine up north for many, many years now.

Seriously dude. We don't give as much of a **** about Alabama as you do. Know why? Because it's an MSU board. And do you know English? Or were you taught to communicate in country phonetics and colloquialisms at an early age?

Yep, not a thing derogatory. If anything, that last comment about Brassell being the better of the 2 appears to be headed in the slight direction of "we didn't want Singleton anyway".

I have from a very good source,he almost took the Starkville High job. If it hadn't been for new coaching hires and solid recruits just signed, it would have happened. Would have been a huge hire.

the story isn't the content of the pay site but rather the bat **** crazy follow-up antics of the guy running the pay site. Including him banning his own paying members for reporting something that not only they heard but others have as well. Just as fair use allows you to use copyrighted material to parody or comment on this should be allowed.

Aside from that, !#%# Yancy and the Spirit....
