The offensive efficiency has slipped big time the last month. They are playing slower and playing worse. The three point shot can make up for a lot of this, but they aren't shooting enough of them.
That's what happens when you are juggling point with injuries. Also Auburn is very very good. They decided to switch everything and take away the 3 ball. We aren't good enough to win without the 3ball. But you know we could be cal! Ark!

Uh, not facts, you're an idiotic teill
I don't see a thing he posts as it's the same tired stuff and I ignored him. You'd only get dumber reading his vomit. I just see his name when people quote him and know he's doing the same stuff. Worm with a keyboard.....type of guy you'd never be caught dead with.

The games Kentucky has been able to grit out have been against bad offenses.

They simply don't have the approach to stay with Florida, Auburn, Alabama, etc...knowing all of those teams are scoring 90+.

Auburn has better players. Would any UK starter start for Auburn?

Auburn also plays really good D. They've got the length and athleticism. They're doing exactly what they should do keeping UK from getting up 3s.

Our shooting 30 threes is dependent on having space to run our cuts and motion. We did that pre-sec but once league started these more athletic teams don’t let us move free and extend the defense and we just don’t get the looks in the half court.

The fix for that is to have a couple of guys to break the defense down to create open looks but we only have two and Butler has been hurt and Owen is not a passer.

Ummm what? Your argument ends at “they have better wins”. Cal would have lost just about every big game this season, just like he did the last 3.

As brutal as this schedule is, we’d be a sub .500 team with Cal here.

Some of you go too far with the cal never won any big games hyperbole. He did win 3 games over top 10 teams last season and had some huge wins n 2022 before injured derailed that post season.

I agree with u this year's team has had far more impressive wins and the schedule is tougher.

I think the game isn’t over, but you were also acting the way Dan and after the Oklahoma game today this is just a carryover man with everything. This team is going against it help some fans have a little faith, but you be and as always, I appreciate your service.
I see a team in trouble heading into March. You can see it however you want. I am a positive poster on this board, but I know what I see. Go back and look at all the early game threads... I was always the "it ain't over yet" guy. But, I'm a realist.

Agree, but the alternative is COACHING. It's not take 15-foot jumpers with 5 on the shot clock, let Amari take mid-range one-handed floaters or Brea going on on one, shooting 15 footers.

How do you think inferior teams pull upsets in March? They don't just accept that they can't get threes off.

Dude. It's the NUMBER ONE TEAM IN THE COUNTRY. Almost NOBODY has beaten them all year.

Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be competitive on your home court. I’d be fine with losing this game if the pride, fight, toughness, and execution were there. None of It is there.

Umm you can’t agree with me and still maintain the last three seasons were better…

You’re talking out of both sides here.

No, I am not saying they are better. I was simply stating u saying Cal didn't win any big games his last 3 seasons was false.

I'd rank them. 1. This year's team 2. 2022 when healthy 3. Last years 2024 team 4. 2023

Kentucky is about to be 19-10
Arkansas is 17-11 (pending today)
Same league

Is it that much of a difference?

Don’t care about him at Arkansas. I’m going off how he performed here at UK. He was a lazy fatass for almost a decade here and would absolutely be sub .500 this season.

Good for him finding a little fire at Arkansas, but that fire was long dead here.

I know and I’m typing this after watching the start of the second half and I am utterly disgusted myself, but I love my cats and I will just cheer for them till bitter and damn they piss me off too

It's cool. I just see this team regressing lately, and it turns my stomach. We were so close to being a legit threat. But we're sliding backwards.

3 losses at home (2 of them in embarrassing fashion), 10 losses overall, 9th place in the SEC...but hey, we beat Duke and UL. Way to go Pope!!!
