I like that 1-5 for sure and Robson at 9. Not sure on 6-8. Probably have Rea, then Frost, either Slauter or Ammirati at 8.

We have a big time DH problem..that's for sure. But Wes is too valuable defensively at first. His footwork is amazing to be so big. And i cant tell you how many throws to first have looked to me like they were going into the stands and he just reaches up and snatches them. But i feel you're pain trying to get another hitter in the lineup. Your DH should never bat 9th in the order, and that's where Armstrong was last night.

I was thinking if we bat Rea down in the order, maybe he wont feel so much pressure that he pops up ankle high pitches with the bases loaded.** If USCe is throwing a right hander we need to load up the left handed batters box early.

No question, Rea has to play first. It makes no sense to put a very good position player at DH. And you're right about our problem. We've really only got about 5-6 SEC caliber hitters on the team. An announcer for one of our games a week or 2 ago said that Cohen puts 75% of his scholarship budget into pitching. That leaves only just over 3 scholarships for 8 position players, a DH, and their backups. I understand that pitching is more important than hitting, but that just seems too skewed to me. I'd like to see closer to a 50-50 to 60-40 split.
