If I remember the 2001 series correctly (2-1 MSU--Larson missed our chance to sweep?), we have now won 3 of the 5 baseball series played in Oxford during this decade of our demise. Not to mention our 2 SEC Tourney Titles and a CWS appearance. This decade. This terrible decade.

And yes, fatass Larson blew that series up there, I went to all three games.

I remember standing on the hill they had down the 3rd base line at the time and screaming myself hoarse when Fat Cat Larson was brought into the game. He didn't even have to throw a pitch for me to know we were about to get killed. Sure enough, he gets absolutely murdered. Seriously, how did we keep letting that guy pitch?

Larson was unable to field a swinging bunt down the first base line by, I believe, Josh Christian.

and I don't remember who told me, but Larson came back to the dugout after blowing the lead and was screaming about not getting any fielding, and Casey Long told him "Well, it's hard to field it when it comes back to us like it's shot out of a ***!*@* cannon."

Not starting a pissing match after the asswhipping going on this weekend, just confused. This is MSU's first series win against Ole Miss in Oxford or Starkville since 2003. In 2003 y'all swept us in Oxford. In 2001 y'all beat us 2-1 in Oxford. Where does the other series win in Oxford come from this decade? Or are you counting a decade as 99-09 instead of 00-10?</p>

The other series win comes in 2009. 2001, 2003, 2009. That's 3 anyway you compute a decade.

Wasn't much to clear up. Getting swept, at home, in the rain, and now I can't count. Somebody give me Troy's number.
