(1) Since Byrne changed the event provider, things are much better. Most of the people are competent (some exceptions), they are mostly friendly and tell you to enjoy the game. They are helpful (most of the time) when you need help. With a few exceptions, somebody does a good job in hiring them.

(2) Can't speak to the restrooms elsewhere, but the ones under the west side are being kept cleaner, towls in the dispensers, and the shelfs above the pissers give you a place to set your cocktail.

(3) Traffice is horrible, but having 54k on game days will cause that. Stadium expansion will make that worse as will parking. Simply not enough space near the stadium nor 4 lane streets. May just be the price to pay for increased attendance.

(4) Concession stands are somewhat better but the additional booths to buy drinks help. What doesn't help are the same folks in front of you that have 10 minutes to decide what they want and still get to the counter and wait another 5 minutes to make up their mind. They simply migrate from fast food counters to the game. Genetic selection during the breeding process may improve this situation over the next 50 years.

(5) The Junction is a great area but even with bags available, a number of dickheads left the Junction looking like an abandoned landfill. Most other areas, folks pickup their trash (even students). The area near the street looked like a Somali sports bar.

Except for traffic, Byrne started treating fans like customers and Stricklin seems to be carrying on what Byrne started. Makes it nice to have a much classier event, especially for visiting fans.

Flat screens are great with Jack in the background. Who ever does the stadium music needs to work on timing. Traffic is what 54k will be but why the 17 did they close down the pay lot in front of thesorority row?

mother17ers that I encountered at this game was pretty high. From the guy a few rows behind us that got a kick out of making some retarded garbled sound with his whoremouth to the fat woman that stopped right in front of me (and I was on the end of the row) to have a discussion with the woman behind us. WTF are people thinking? I had a pretty decent concession stand experience though aside from having the worst jambalaya I have ever had. I was pretty pumped to hear that they had jambalaya and much like the wr's, it left me pretty disappointed.

and the traffic issue I'm likely done with Thursday night games unless its a must-be-there kind of game, I can get all day Friday off and I have a hotel room. When a 6:30 starts doesn't end until after 10:00 and then it takes another half hour to exit the stadium and make your way to the car and then you just SIT in traffic for an hour and a half waiting to get out of the congestion that's just too much. I know at the Memphis game the crowd started leaving early which spaced out the traffic more but also they changed the allowed traffic flow in several places last night for some unknown reason and it just served to muck up everything. Whatever plan they had last night for traffic flow they need to go back to the drawing board.

The personnel in the concession stands may be better in some places but not in the stand behind the 100's section chairbacks on the south end of the west side.

1. Last game and this game, the guy serving me could/would not fill my order correctly, would not serve me before getting my money, acted like he really didn't want to be there in the first place.
2. Nachos aren't as good - too thin, not as many, and not enough peppers.
3. I asked for "not much ice" in the two drinks I ordered (and he repeated it to me before getting the drinks). He then proceeded to fill the first one three-quarters full with ice and the other one to overflowing with ice.

Maybe small things, I know, but still not as good as it used to be.

Worst of all, prices are higher and the menu has less items. This means that you have to go to two or three vendors (and stand in line at each one) to get all the things you and your wife and guests want brought back to the seats.

Last, they are really stepping up the enforcement of keeping food and drinks from being brought into the stadium. This is blatantly to force you to spend more money at the over-priced concession stands.

These factors do NOT add to a pleasurable game experience.

to piss me off... I even called the gameday assistance phone line late Thursday morning and asked if any lots had been closed due to rain, etc... and was told that all lots were exactly the same as last Saturday. I even specifically asked about that lot, and after being on hold for 7 minutes and 38 seconds, I was told that it was still a pay lot and it would indeed be open. Then she said that she had already told me that all lots were the same as Saturday. Four hours later I found out it was reserved for overflow from reserved lots. She said I could only park there with a pass. I showed her my ****** pre-paid pass and she said that didn't count. I am still 17ing pissed about that whole episode.
