Thoughts on game....

Our defense is horrible, Wilson needs to make changes or he can hit the road.
We play too much zone defense. We need to play man on their receivers and blitz the QB. If he beats us, they so be it.. This rushing 3 is not going to cut it.. Wilson made no changes to our defense during the first half, why not??? Playing prevent is no working an I am sick of it.

Our offense is horrible. We had some success running out of the I formation, but why did we stop that and run that little counter draw that never works.. We never threw the ball down the field. We have to at least try, otherwise they do not respect the deep ball and play up to shut down the run and short passes.

Our coaches were not prepared and need to learn to make in game adjustments, especially on defense. This game is on Mullen and Wilson. We deserve a better product for what we are paying them. I am not sure we will win another game this year...

Mullen is all talk, he can't beat Top 20 teams, period. Bring Back Jackie!!!!

interesting question about the money. i wish someone would work up an equation that figures what coaches are doing the best for the money. should figure in wins, losses, strength of schedule, a finite period of a number of years, 4 i guess, and salary. easy to figure the dollar per win number, but a sos factor needs to taken into consideration as an equalizer. revenue from the conference probably should also be looked at.

I honestly lost all hope offensively after sitting thru that cluster on Saturday. We have a redshirt junior QB that has a great arm, an average yet senior laden receiver corps, and an O line that was doing a decent job for the most part and we were flat out scared to throw against an average SEC defense on our own field. In the first half especially there was no imagination and **** we were playing from behind. Did Dan figure that they were just going to lay down and give us points?

The sad, and scary part is that this is one of the most prolific offenses we will ever see at MSU, and we still can't match up with the top half of the league. Mullen needs to grow a sack and open up this vanilla *** playbook or he should just leave now while his résumé still has some substance.
