9 minutes left in the second half. They might join us with a 3-game losing streak, and given that they were #1 with no injuries and are taking such a huge dump, they are in dire straits.

We still win AT Purdue. No other team has done that. Stings a bit but we also beat NW AT NW and we beat Maryland and Indiana all of whom beat Purdue so not too shabby

You don't see it? Big Purdue win lost its luster. Committee won't cut us breaks. We are teetering near bottom third of conference. They don't let all in.

Because if we go 3-2 in these last five regular season games and finish 11-9, we are going to be in the bottom third of the conference. It's like Lake Wobegon where all of the children are above average.

Two wins is be nervous but likely in IMO. Three is a lock.

You realize we sh*T the bed once. Almost every team in the b10 has done it. Our worst loss was by 13. Pike and our teams the last 3 years had worst losses, bad stretches and regrouped just fine. We are a veteran laden team and those are the teams that can recover from 1 bad game. Or are you just looking at 1 game and ignoring all the others?

Conference has zero to do with it

You have no clue what you are talking about
Winner winner chicken dinner. With guys like 2004 you’d think we never have gone through this before. We had much worse losses last year and similar good wins and still snuck in. There also seems to be more parity and teams bunched together in many conferences.

Purdue losing is bad for the league. Was holding it up by a thread. League is very meh this year.

a few weeks ago, there was a thread saying this team was the greatest team in Rutgers sports history. we weren’t even ranked then. we finally break the top 25 and suddenly we’re marginal for making the tournament. my how our fortunes have changed.

Tennessee lost to Florida. Arizona lost to Washington State. Texas lost to Texas Tech. UConn lost to St. John's (or Xavier lost to DePaul and Butler if that's more your speed). Virginia lost to Virginia Tech. C'mon man.

"Sneaking in" means squat. Could easily be last 4 out. Let's see. Better pray we win in Madison.

Is that two losses in a row?

They’re obviously an NCAA lock this year, but will lose in the first round. And will be below .500 next season. They’re done.

Watch the tide turn should we lose in Madison and these posters start to comprehend the dire straights. Of course, some will say Rutgers is in even if we drop 4, 5, 6 in a row.

I will repost my spot on predictions as I did against Nebby. The only one to express fear of a loss and say we would have no answer for Tominaga.

I don’t get people like you and the negativity. Why not root for RU? We played one crappy game. Yes it was at a bad time. Let’s see how the team responds.

Everyone was bitching at Paul last year when he wasn’t scoring and then he had that 4 game Magic Johnson impersonation where he was scoring like crazy.

If you can’t handle ups and downs you need to choose another team to root for.

You gotta see with our recruiting Pike sees our shortcomings and is filling the gaps too.
