Our Bulldog Club has a lot more members. I have a feeling a lot of the donations will drop significantly thanks to the incredible coaching by Crxxm.

the guy upped his donation & said something about the intergrity Sly was putting into the program. I though that was pretty weak on Greg's part. If integrity & losing go together then I'm sick & tired of the new meaning of integrity. Sly has got to go.

1. Encourage the fanbase to support the coach and team (until Greg fires the coach and encourages the fanbase to support the new coach and team).
2. Encourage the fanbase to contribute no matter how bad the team sucks.

I think if he hits his norm of 3 wins then he will get the opportunity with a new staff under him to have another fluke of a winning season. If he fails to reach his threshold of a 3 win season he will be out with his staff and his integrity. Here's to Vandy winning their next two games. Go 'dores...

for that to happen from what I was told. 3 or less and a change is going to be made. Or at least that is what the money men are saying...

Strange that you're not getting it even though you e-mailed them. I e-mailed them and they started sending it to me. You might also go into your dogtag account at the mstateathletics.com website and make sure your e-mail address there is current.

I sure hope you are right. I almost hate to say it, but he really needs to go for us to have a chance at turning this program into a winner. I keep trying to figure a way to improve the program by leaving him at the head and I just can't.

He makes idiotic hires. His recruiting minus this class on paper has been a farce. This paper class will not even be the same come Feb. I don't think. His in game coaching decisions and adjustments are horrendous. Unless we have LSU-like talent to overcome his in game decisions we will continue to be put in positions to lose and continue to lose. I simply think we lose to Vandy because of the off week opportunity to coach a little more than usual for a game.

All this "integrity" and "character" injected into the program will continue to erode. Any coach could only survive for so long recruiting based on this lie. SWAC talent belongs in the SWAC, we are a member of the SEC and require SEC talent to win in this conference.

All in all I can't figure a way that he could ever win consistently at MState. I will say that we will be very lucky to win more than 3-4 games this year so I hope you are right.

My worst nightmare for this season is that we struggle to a 4-8 record and Crxxm hangs on to his job by the skin of his teeth (and at the expense of several of his assistant coaches). Then we'll be in the same lame duck assistant coach hiring situation we were in back in 2003. If we can't win 6 (unlikely at this point), I'd just as soon go 3-9 and let Byrne hire a football coach in December.

Why do you almost hate to say it? Is he your best friend or something? Is there some emotional attachment I'm missing here? He's a coach. A well paid coach who is doing a poor job.

I almost hate to say it for two reasons. No he is not my best friend or something. I do like the guy personally, but I do not like the way he coaches. So number one would be that I liked him the few times I have meet him. Number two I hate to see the potential backlash of being the first SEC school to fire a black head coach. As warranted as it would be there will be some trying to make an issue out of it.

Otherwise I am all for it.

1. He's nice.
2. We don't want people to call us racists.

Hardly reasons to keep a man on board that is floundering at his job. If those two reasons influence a decision, then we have deeper issues in our athletic department that need to be addressed.

Croom will not fire the OC because he is the real OC and is the one calling the plays.
Our great coach has said this himself on several occasions.
I don't think he would fire Woody, they are best buds you know..
Croom will be stubborn and will his hand will be called and Greg better fire his stupid fat crooked wearing no play calling ***....

Its going to be a long ride if the TEAM not CRXXM picks it up and wins 3-4 or more to finish the season. Crxxm is not going to get the job done and I'm not specifically referring to the season. He will lose the games. He will not fire his Buddy. He has the same attitude as jose or whoever saying they dont want to fire him because hes nice and backlash. Well if everyone has that mentality then we all are seeing what crxxm sees. He won't fire McCorvey because hes friends with the guy even tho they BOTH are doing a 17ing terrible job.

Damn Croomp I didn't say I didn't want him fired. If it was up to me he would have been gone before that fluke winning season last year. I said I ALMOST hate to say that he will never get us to the promised land. Meaning that I don't think he can ever do it and I hate to say it because of... I didn't say I want him to be our coach. I didn't want him hired in the first place, but I understand why he was probably hired. As Stallion... said a couple weeks ago hiring him was our probation. I fully agree.

Get his *** out of here yesterday. Go find someone willing to take 1-2 million a year that knows something about recruiting and coaching. I don't even give a **** if we cheat, a lot, get some players in here and let them play. This is the SEC. We need to compete or just keep his **** up with football, with no more pay raises, video boards... and put more resources into basketball. With a little more effort, considering the talent in this state alone, we should go deep in the NCAA's annually.
