has become the opposite of what made him so great. He changed overnight after Elin smashed his SUV up. He used to be able to completely focus on golf when he played and he thrived when playing in front of millions of people in person and on tv. Now his mind has become his toughest competitor. What you see as temper tantrums on the outside can't even compare to what he tells himself on the inside. I think he is a completely embarrassed and self-loathing man now. He has zero confidence in himself because he despises what he did to his family, his legacy and to himself that much. It's impossible to be the Tiger we all expect when he has no confidence. It's a shame because Tiger before the breakup was the greatest golfer I've ever seen. He is not the same man anymore. I hope he gets it back.

I tend to agree with you on this one and I am loving every minute of his destruction. I'd give anything to see Freddy win it all. I laugh now when I pull out my Boom Boom driver and put it up against my R7. It looks ridiculous. But I loved that driver more than any I have ever had, except for maybe my original Big Bertha which I snapped off at the faux hosel on the old 7th hole at the MSU course (16 I guess now) and sent it into the pond.

as the putt sank... the most disgusting act from a professional golfer I've ever seen.. all those angry fist pumps and what have you... I grew up watching Ernie, the Shark , Cup Cakes and the others win with smiles on their faces with the cap tipping.... respecting the game and their opponents... I remember how turned off I was in Memphis wathcing those angry fist pumps from Dickie Pride and then that other guy with the quirky swing (Furik sp?) doing similar things long before Tiger came on the scene.. never liked it then, don't like it now...

I am confused about your argument. Are you saying he is more comfortable at the Masters than Bay Hill? He has won Bay Hill 7 times. That is 3 more times than he has won the Masters. In fact, he has won 5 tournaments more times than he has won the Masters.<div>

Golf needed Tiger Woods's dominance. It needed his confidence. It elevated the game of golfto places it has never been before. I remember getting chill bumps when he walked that putt down pointing at it in the 2000 PGA Championship. Even as a kid you just knew you were watching something special. Those upper cut fist pumps to me were just bad ***. He did amazing things in the most crucial moments of some of the biggest sporting events in the world. I wish he would get that confidence back because at his peak he was the most exciting athlete to watch in the world.

my dad still uses his Ping 1A Scotsdale putter he has had for 44 years. The head to my original Big Bertha is in the lake off 16 tee. Anyone who finds it can keep it. Same for the balata 100 ball thats in the woods to the left after that duck hook, snapped shaft shot.
