Joe Exotic could've been a country music star (seriously). Has a better voice than 90% of what's out there now.
Very true. Dude was an egomaniac. How did he get 18% of the governor vote? Just crazy. Ran for president. Just a unique dude.

Joe didn't sing or write any of those songs. He's the country version of Milli Vanilli.

The journalist who did a podcast on him confirmed that in the Twitter thread posted above.

I'm just as disappointed as you are.

Is this true??? His singing voice was his only redeeming value. I’m pissed lol.

I made it about 5 minutes in before turning it off. Just not my cup of tea. Sometimes you get winners with these new Netflix releases that everyone starts talking about and then sometimes its just not something that appeals to you. Ozark new season comes out tomorrow. Now THAT I am excited about.

I could definitely see how it wouldn't appeal to some folks. It was a lot like Abducted in Plain Sight on Netflix where I had to keep watching just to see what those idiots would do next. It made me think of Dumb and Dumber when Harry tells Lloyd "You know Lloyd, just When I Think You Couldn't Possibly Be Any Dumber, You Go and Do Something Like This.. and Totally Redeem Yourself!!".

Sung by Vince Johnson and Danny Clinton.

Joe Exotic- I think he had good intentions when he started, but money and the need for fame took over. You could not write a character like him.

Doc - he runs a cult. Period. Dude is a freak. Poor girls living there

Carole- bat poop crazy. I would not put anything past her. Definitely involved in her husbands death. Cold person. You can see it in her eyes

Howard- poor bastard. She dominated him.

Kirkham- was in it for a payday. I think this scarred him for life.

Saff- list an arm and still went back to work there. Crazy.

Felt bad for the zoo employees. Erik, John, Susan. You could tell they cared about the animals and the zoo

loved his campaign manager.

Jeff Lowe- the guy I hated the most. Should be in jail. A true con man. The worst of the bunch in my opinion.

Glover- psychopath.
Ill add Travis and John- 2 young boys Joe groomed and essentially locked in a the zoo while feeding their drug addictions. That **** was kinda pure evil. Basically traded their lives for a trucks, 4wheelers, and drugs. Felt horrible when Travis died, guy had obviously had a **** upbringing. John progressively losing his teeth over 4 years was a sight to see.

Surprised nobody has brought up the fact Joe was putting a pad lock through his dick piercing, his junk must be mutilated.

Was an interesting watch. Would love to infiltrate doc next.

Yeah its even worse he wasn't technically trying to kill himself he thought if you dropped a clip from a ruger it wouldn't go off even if you had one in the camber and well it went off. I knew when he had no interview time something would happen but wasnt really prepared for that either. Very shocking. Thought the Campaign manager offered coherent perspective though so that was refreshing. The last few episodes with the hit man so high he was taking a bath in shorts and the former animal manger so drunk on his small bed with a tiger plush was pretty hard to watch. Alot of those workers were felons and all they had was that zoo.

Also **** joe for bankrupting his parents, what a **** move.

Joe definitely chose people to work there who basically had no other options. Made them feel like it was a family. And I agree I felt so sad for his parents. He used them big time.

One of my questions (and there are many, lol) is how many documentary crews were involved here? Because the documentary guy that kept showing up on screen said he had lost every bit of footage when the studio/alligator building burned down. Or did I just miss somewhere that it was all explained that the footage was recovered?

I've checked up on Joes Youtube page, he comes up surprisingly competent despite me knowing he isn't. Unsurprisingly his page only has about 100-600 views per video, but yeah I expected low low low quality and it was like medium.

Probably not?

How about a 3 way wedding with tigers?

How high were they? Also obvious that Travis kid was very resistant to being gay outside of the park.

Finally finished. It was taxing.

I question the intelligence of anyone that rates it highly. It's a 5/10 at best.

It has an 8.1/10 on IMDB.

Do you actually judge someone's intelligence based on their opinion of a movie or documentary???

I’ll go 9/10. I enjoyed it because it was so outlandish and crazy I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. You couldn’t write this if you tried. I’d love to see a follow up to see where the people are now. Well we know where joe is

I feel like all those characters could have their own spin off.

The nutbag in South Carolina, or that dude in Miami that was tony Montana...I mean he had like 10 minutes in the whole thing

I started watching the series on Thursday, mainly because everybody was talking about how crazy it was. Got through 3 episodes and I have to agree with everybody.

Finished it tonight and I couldn't believe how effed up all these people were. None of the main characters have any redeeming qualities. Their all lunatics and con men. Carole might just be the craziest of all. I definitely recommend Tiger King.
