Watched 1 1/4 episodes. It was like watching some "Inside San Quentin/Sanitarian/Jonestown" documentary and being asked to choose the most likable character.
Damn that was some exceptional TV right there..
No one in this show can be classified as a "good" person.. Almost all of them are ****** to some extent. But Joe was at least some what likable, and he stood by his convictions. He always wanted to be famous and he's arguably the most talked about person in 2020.
Carole on the other hand.. she's going to lose a ton of business for this, and I suspect someone is going to find out what happened to her Husband. She went from a small pocket of the population hearing about her story, to now the whole US. She'll be in jail in a year or two.

I'm watching it right now. I'm a fifth into it and I don't know how much is left. I hope it lasts for another fifth. Carol may not have killed her husband, but she paid the person who did.

I thought "Abducted..." was pretty easy to pin down: the dad was gay, and they turned a blind eye to their daughter being abused by the neighbor rather than putting a stop to it and risking dad being outed.
True but it was still shocking and not from the standpoint that you didn't see it coming as much as you are shocked anyone would be that stupid.

The people (parents and cop) in Abducted are worse, but there's not the 7 hours of escalating bizarre shocks like Tiger King. It's definitely twisted though. Those parents are horrible human beings.

So, apparently they're making a miniseries on this starring Kate McKinnon from SNL as Carole Baskin. I'm not sure what channel or streaming service it'll be on, but I'm sure it'll be hilarious.

Well, aside from the obvious that the husband's body never turned up and she had millions of reasons to do it. I'm just saying she doesn't act all shifty when asked about it. She responds calmly. She doesn't try to change the topic. Again, I haven't seen past episode five. I'm up to the part where her chief antagonist went off the deep end and the feds are closing in.
