Time for us to stop talking about Schiano as an option

Can we move on from speculating on Greg Schiano's return to Rutgers? We are nowhere near the top of his list. I don't want a coach that views us as his school of last resort. We're like the ex girfriend who hopes that her ex strikes out with his other prospects for the prom so that he'll eventually ask us.

It not going to happen, but if it does we're guaranteed not to have a good time at the prop.

Until we name someone (or he finally ends up somewhere else), his name will remain in the mix. Given the history - it's inevitable.

But, it's pretty clear he's looking anywhere else but here ---

Though, also clear - time is running out -- if he doesn't end up somewhere soon - then assistant NFL or MAC is probably where he will really end up.


I'd hate to hear that RU did reach out and he said "no" or "not now" ....

It's funny we have half the board screaming Rutgers can do better and yet people are certain Rutgers is trying to get him. Maybe Hobbs thinks they can do better as well.

What if Schiano's plan is to try to get offers, then turn them down and come to Rutgers? He could then use that in recruiting like he used his offers from Miami and Michigan
