Cliff, Paul, Hyatt, Oskar, Dean and Miller all need to go. This is the type of game that Cliff shouldve dominated, it didnt happen and the Hofsta Big men nullified him. Paul was ineffective on offense and a statue on defense with quicker guards blowing by him at will. This team needs to be turned over!

What a dumb post. Talk about overreaction. I'm out for the night. Holy smokes, what a bunch of crybabies we have for fans.

Your post could have some merit if you didn’t include cliff. I know he missed a rebound but in no way are they better off without him. Come on.
Yes they are he was awful tonight has no clue how to hedge on defense and didn’t even come close to boxing his man out on defense

Cliff tall but too skinny and has no hands. Agree with OP he has to be replaced if we are serious about trying to win the Big Ten

The issue with this team is depth. Fix that and we can be pretty impressive. We had lapses early and late when a starter or two went down or are hurting while playing. Cliff needs to stay. I would also say Paul as well. We have strong additions coming here next year. I’m optimistic

Agreed . The biggest problem resulting from Mag's injury was lack of an adequate replacement off the bench. We missed Mag's rebounding almost as much as his defense. Hyatt is not the answer--if he isn't hitting from outside he contributes little else. We need another physical rebounder to go along with Cliff.

Just think how bad this lose would have been if we shot our usual 62 points. Just can’t have both O&D on the same night

Yes. Agreed. Didn’t see your message when I posted
Awards mean nothing to me, do you watch the games, I watch them all. Any center with a pulse scores on him in the post and outside of dunks he struggles to score. He doesnt box out on defense and the other team gets offensive rebounds because of it. The rebounds be does get are either uncontested or because of his great athletic abilty.

I do watch the games. I respect your opinion but disagree. I believe Cliff needs to stay. It would be catastrophic if he left. Imo.

Let's just talk about tonight.. cliff had 3 rebounds in the first half and got his 4th (and final?) Early in the 2nd.
He was letting the guys get in front of him for bounds and he did very little to protect the lane and basket.

Don't give me the injury thing when he's jumping like that for his dunks. Yeah I was there and saw him grab his ankle first half. But it's no excuse. He's not hurt that bad.

I am not saying he's not really good and don't want him back. I'm just saying he did not have a great game on defense. But He may have been tied with Paul for best foul shooter tonight going 2-2..the rest? the other reason we lost.. again. At home.

A poster in another thread posted that Cliff had 3 defensive rebounds and the Hofstra big man had 7 offensive rebounds. The Hofstra big man that averages 3 pts a game got 10 tonight, this has been going on most of the season.

Remember how the big on Notre Dame destroyed Cliff last year even though he was much smaller
