I mean, seriously, we beat Texas! Arch is frustrated, their team is frustrated. Pretty sure someone is coming to Starkville this week and doing some tutoring sessions w/ Lebby

AND, it’s just better to start the week and carry through with some positivity!

I’m calling it, WE. BEAT. TEXAS!

UK almost beat Texas. They lost in one OT to a Texas FG, but they'd tied the game at the last moment with a FG (similar to our situation, except we threw and got it intercepted, and they kicked and made it. Their FG was shorter, however).

Forget it. Whatever happened yesterday probably saved Napiers job for a while longer.
We have become the opposite of that team that got you Zooked (for those of you who remember).
Now a hapless coach on the hot seat can look forward to MSU on his schedule and Lebby himself back on track.

He might have not been saved. Florida won, but they still looked bad and almost got beat, and should have been beat, by Miss. State. That's normally the death knell. It depends if they've got somebody locked up or not.

It’s going to be an ugly game. The Texas offense is awful. They won last night with 16 points and 180 yards of offense in a game that went to overtime. I think they’re pretty good defensively though. There are actually a lot of similarities between them and Florida.

Lebby needs to win that one really badly, just to start rebuilding some some trust from the fanbase. Yesterday feels like washed away all the good vibes from beating ASU and playing Tennessee really close.

People talk about the SEC losing streak going back 2 years, but it has now been almost 3 years since we won a home conference game. Our fans are starving for something, anything to cheer about in these winnable SEC games.

Manning is just as mediocre as Lagway.
Just took a look at ESPN total QB ratings. Interesting bottom 3 in the conference. #14 Manning, #15 Shapen, #16!Lagway. From what I saw yesterday, Lagway is clearly the worst qb in the conference. His throwing motion is horrible, he makes bad decisions & throws late. He looks like he’s never met a QB coach in his life, or watched a good QB play.

It’s not whether or not Texas is good or mediocre - it’s that WE will find a way to screw it up. THATS the question here. We should beat Texas but there’s a really good chance we will do a bunch of stupid schitt to let UT hang around and sneak a W.

Texas is beatable, but this team will find a way to blow any chance of pulling it off.
