Mike Carey seems to have hit his peak as a coach. He’s never been past the second round despite having the better team on multiple occasions. He’s getting up there in age.

Time for the program to go a different route?

EVERY TEAM THAT GIVES UP ON A PROVEN COACH, CANDIDATE FOR NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR AT THAT, USUALLY WINDS UP SPENDING 10 YEARS OF BEING WORSE WHILE TRYING TO FIND ANOTHER DIAMOND COACH. CAREY AND HUGGINS GIVE WVU THE BEST MEN'S/WOMEN'S COACHING PACKAGE EVER. DON'T DESTROY IT BECAUSE YOU JUST WATCHED THE GANG THAT COULDN'T SHOOT STRAIGH IN INACTION! IT'S LIKE THROWING OUT THE BABY WITH THE BATH WATER. NOT SMART AT ALL.

It's women's basketball. I don't think anyone really cares.

Carey has his best class of recruits coming to Morgantown this Summer, so I doubt that he will going anywhere in the next few years.
