Soldiers dont put their lives on the line for a flag or a song....The put their lives on the line for freedom. And it's that freedom that grants someone the right to stand, sit or kneel during a national anthem and not face backlash or persecution via the government. It amazes me how people get Patriotism and Nationalism confused. Who cares. You cannot tell me you haven't once been maybe looking at your phone or not with your hand over your heart during the anthem...same principle...

It's people like you who say look at those black folks protesting by looting...they need to protest peacefully....then Colin does this and you say "no not like that neither"....you prolly get pissed when people stand on the flag too but don't mind seeing a girl in thong flag underwear...

You are making this about something that has nothing to do with the issues at hand...talking about how hard his life is or whatever verses South Africa....not about that, this is about injustice within the walls of this country going on simply because of the amount of melatonin someone has...

Please walk up to a number of veterans and say this and see how many a)agree with you b)tell you to take that opinion and GFY with it.

Who cares. You cannot tell me you haven't once been maybe looking at your phone or not with your hand over your heart during the anthem.
Yes I can. When the pledge or anthem starts, I put my hand over my heart, remove hat if I am wearing one, and stay that way until it is over.

It's people like you who say look at those black folks protesting by looting...they need to protest peacefully....then Colin does this and you say "no not like that neither".
Actually, protesting is dumb as hell these days, and looting is just straight up illegal. With everyone having a cell phone with a camera these days, if some injustice is happening, just record it. Document what happened, and those that did wrong will be punished. You wanna know why not a lot of cops got punished from the BLM propaganda, it's because when further research into the claims were done, almost all of them were justified killings. I'll let Steven Crowder explain:

All protesting does today is give us something to make fun of because most protests are made up of safe space hiding, SJW poosays who have no idea what they are protesting against, just some sheep behind herded around by their idiot gender studies professor who feeds their brains full of garbage.

you prolly get pissed when people stand on the flag too but don't mind seeing a girl in thong flag underwear...
You bet your *** I do. If you burn it, stand on it, wipe your nose and/or *** on it, or desecrate the flag in any way, you are a POS. And while I don't like the flag on any clothing at all, I at least tolerate thong girl, because she's proud to have old glory between her *** cheeks.

So somehow the shooters with ar-15s that kill dozens of people at Columbine, Aurora, Charleston, Sandy Hook all manage to get to see their day in court and a dude selling CDs or chilling on the streets of new York, or a legal gun owner in Minnesota pulled over for a busted tail light are "threats that deserved to die".... Wow, your ignorance is dumbfounding

I am a proud veteran and love my country.

I take NO offense to him sitting during the anthem, I do not agree with it. Just ignore him and he will go away. WE make the protest more than it is by drawing so much damn attention to it.

If you are looting, disrupting, hurting people, etc. well that is a different story.

Didnt watch the video I linked. Dude wasn't killed for selling CDs. He was a sex offender with a rap sheet a mile long, and cops were told he was armed.

Dude in Minnesota had a rap sheet a mile long as well and was pulled for matching description of a stolen vehicle. Forgive me for not taking his gf's word that he was a saint.

Columbine was done with Tec 9's and regular old fashioned shotguns.

Charleston was a glock.

Read once in a while and don't be a sheep.

1) Castille's "rap" sheet is full of over 60 traffic stops in a 5 year time period in which 4 stuck. He worked for a school. He was the furthest thing from a thug. So because u look like someone else , you have a gun legally and reach for your wallet you deserve to die?

2) Alton Sterling was a sex offender due to not knowing a girls age and her lying about it essentially. The rest of his crimes were domestic violence type **** which is something engrained in the culture of the poor black communities in New Orleans.

3) so essentially if you have a criminal history and you have a run in with police you deserve to die?

4) so you ignore everything about the mass shootings to point out the difference in guns and don't recognize all were white and all somehow were not shot and killed? Convienent...

The fact you said Castille's rap sheet was long and am indictment against him shows your ignorance. If his history is an indictment of anything it's racial profiling by police lol....but nice try

This is why I don't waste my time with Young Turks. He will not even think about looking at facts or hear opinions that do not line up with his beliefs. Of course he is going to feed the sheep and keep their blinders on.

I'm not saying in some of these instances the victims didn't act in their best interest....but that doesn't mean they get to have their lives taken. I'm not anti police. But I also don't think being a policeman also makes you a pillar of virtue. There's just as many bad cops as anything else out there...I work in the courts system and travel all over the country and I listen to both sides of the argument. I don't blame white people for all black people's problems....but I also recognize people of color, specifically black people, have been systematically oppressed in different ways throughout their history in this country....that there is empirical proof of it.

Castille I will admit was probably unjustly shot by a nervous cop who thought he was going for a gun. However he wasn't a saint.

Alton Sterling got what he deserved.

If you have a criminal history, and a run in with the cops, STFU and do EXACTLY as they say and your *** doesn't get shot. If I am a cop knowing I am dealing with someone with a criminal past, you better bet my trigger finger is more alert to save my own skin.

Sandy Hook and Columbine, the guys killed themselves. So let's take them away.

Charleston shooter was arrested after family turned him in.

Aurora shooter was arrested minutes after the attack, found sitting in his car.

Neither were cases of resisting arrest or acting in a way cops felt their lives were in danger apprehending him. Can't say that for Sterling. He was agressive to the bitter end.

Please stick to flying drones and being creepy. Also, you are on ignore now. I can't take this much stupid.

And I say all that to say this... That I see why Kap is protesting....and that he is granted that right to not stand via our Constitution.

Where on the planet do "black lives" matter more than the United States you spoiled morons? Where? Africa? Papa New Guinea? South Africa? Where exactly is the standard you are holding us to that we have been such a disappointment?

Please direct me to the country where blacks have built this shangri la that you speak of so that I might purchase your airfare free of charge as that seems to be your preferred method. In whatever way I might be of assistance in helping you to renounce your US citizenship and apply for matriculation into the African nation of your choice is my offer. I will fill out all the required paperwork while you complain vociferously about the air conditioning, food, and tv stations, that is. I will try not to impose on you unduly as I know your suffering is profound.

I don't mind it at all. Rather than people yelling at CK, calling him names, anti-American, or asking him to leave, people should try to understand why he feels that way. It's kind of sad that someone as successful as he is feels that way and I think he speaks for a lot of people that feel similarly.

What on earth are you talking about? Being ashamed of my country? I never said I'd prefer any other country...I am just saying, like Kap is, that this country has its issues itself that still have quite a bit of progress that needs to be made...he specifically said his actions are meant to show 0 disrespect to Service men and women.... Like I just don't get why you are so damn mad.... I have a total of 11 veterans in my family....none took offense to anything he said or did, and many saw exactly where he is coming from...

Figures you would get it wrong. The flag stands as a symbol of our freedom which our soldiers proudly consider part of what we are defending and it should be protected and defended and we have the right to protest idiots like those who wish to disrespect me when disrespecting the flag of the nation I swore to defend. I tell those of you who disrespect it to kiss my ***.

Replies like this shows just how ignorant you are here. If I disagree with his stance, it simply means that I think he is wrong and am expressing myself not unlike what he is doing only I am not disrespecting an entire nation.

I won't & I doubt many will argue about the oppression of years ago, but use that as a basis for things getting worse - as I believe - in the last 5-10 years when blacks have as much freedom as anyone else imo is a bogus excuse.

Woe to me, I'm black, I'm a victim. That's what's going on.
