It's because they think it's unimportant.
Here are some numbers for you. Do you see how more violent crimes means more of those people getting shot by police?
FACT: Despite making up just 13% of the population, blacks commit around half of homicides in the United States.DOJ statistics show that between 1980 and 2008, blacks committed 52% of homicides, compared to 45% of homicides committed by whites.
More up to date FBI statistics tell a similar story. In 2013, black criminals carried out 38% of murders, compared to 31.1% for whites, again despite the fact that there are five times more white people in the U.S.
– FACT: From 2011 to 2013, 38.5 per cent of people arrested for murder, manslaughter, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault were black. This figure is three times higher than the 13% black population figure. When you account for the fact that black males aged 15-34, who account for around 3% of the population, are responsible for the vast majority of these crimes, the figures are even more staggering.
– FACT: Despite the fact that black people commit an equal or greater number of violent crimes than whites, whites are almost TWICE as likely to be killed by police officers.
– FACT: Despite being outnumbered by whites five to one, blacks commiteight times more crimes against whites than vice-versa, according to FBI statistics from 2007. A black male is 40 times as likely to assault a white person as the reverse.
What is the end game of these protests...when do they stand again? When we get a black president...attorney general...police chiefs...mayors?
Do they just want any and all of the police officers involved in some of the controversial shootings to be charged and thrown in jail w/out trial?
I guess I just see these guys kneeling and throwing their fists up for the rest of their careers because they aren't really asking for a solution or have a goal in mind.

With all of BLM's chanting and planning you'd think at some point it would occur to them to stop committing crimes left and right then maybe you wouldn't have so much police interaction. Every interaction is a chance for something to go wrong, especially when you are mouthy and rude by default. So just by sheer brainpower it should suggest to you that wearing a hoodie then attacking the neighborhood watch captain in a no retreat state might have negative consequences and prevent you from mixing up your batch of purple drank that you just walked down to the store to buy the ingredients for. Or, if you are fresh off committing a strong armed robbery you might not want to walk down a police officer.

Does this mean that the US Justice system is biased against males? Honest question.
Exactly the point I've made for years. The reality is there's no money in it for race baiters in arguing this point.
Id also like to see black women removed from the argument. When we talk about the disproportionate rate of murderers in this country we tend to group them by race. But the reality is black women are not committing murders – Black males are. They make up only 6% of the population yet have committed OVER 50% of all murders in the 40 YEARS.
Let me repeat. 6% of the population has committed more than half of all murders over the past near half century. But people like Sean are racist and continue to perpetuate the lie that black women are murderers.
It doesn't affect me so I don't care and I just ignore him. I think everyone should just do the same..he can do whatever he wants as long as it doesn't hurt someone, even if it's dumb or disrespectful.
I do think he's pushing a falsity that blacks are under attack. That's the problem with media, it gets exacerbated every time one gets killed. The same as ppl get scared to fly bc of how a plane crashes once every few yrs, yet there are millions of flights a year. Sometimes, yes, they get wrongly killed, but the fact remains there are 320 million ppl in this country..it is very rare. When one gets shot, how many 1000's of black and white ppl that day encountered police and nothing happened.
