that didn't go because 10 hours (give or take)"was too far of a drive," jokes on you. It was still a great crowd, though! Such a beatdown.

The drive was too far me so I flew. Great weekend. I just wish there would've been more of a night life and non chain food choices in Ponte Vedra.

was amazed with. The nightlife didn't seem that special and the food joints sucked. I guess I just went to the wrong places?

I live an hour south of Atlanta and left the house with my son and 2 ticketsaround 7:30 AM headed to J'ville for the game It's a 4 hour drive to J'ville. We got to theMacon, GA area on I-75 southbound and got stuck in accident traffic for nearly 3 hours before finally being redirected back northbound in the emergency lane and off from the interstate. By this time, it was 11:45 AM and we had been sitting in the same general area unable to exit or move. Realizing that we couldn't get there for the game, I headed back to the house and arrived 20 minutes before kickoff to watch it on the tube.I found out later that an 18 wheeler carrying a full load of plastic beadswrecked and caught fire on I-75 southbound just below Macon. I read where it took 9 hours for them to finally reopenthe interstate after cleaning up burned plastic all over the interstate. I was not a happy camper sitting there on the interstateinching my way forward bit by bit knowing that I was going to miss the game.

I had to work today. The Peach Bowl would have been more convenient for me personally, but I had an awesome time in Jacksonville.

Much like Thursday night games- which I hate- I will still go.

My biggest fear was an 8 OT game where I would have to leave so that I could catch my flight and then having to wait to find out what happened later. Or missing my flight and having to explain to the hospital why I didn't get to work until 6 PM, which would have been "I overslept" with a straight face.

I was saying the whole week that the best case sceanrio would be a MSU blowout because I figured that if we had a big lead, we would melt the clock and lo and behold that's exactly what happened. I had time to stay and watch the trophy presentation and I will give Jacksonville a LOT of credit on how they handled traffic. I was on the Interstate in about 10 minutes if that and I made my flight with plenty of time to spare.
