The Spirit is already saying it's no big deal because he was buried on the depth chart. Their lack of depth just took another hit.

that we've now won the (actual) recruiting championship every year since 2007 now? I thought they may have gotten us in 2011**

All the "good attrition" BS made me think I had clicked on Gene's Page by mistake.

On the other hand, Singleton had great potential. But he started coasting in his junior year of high school. Million dollar body, ten cent head.

He never really bought into the new staff or the program. Must not have been a fan of disco.

I have to admit that I am very very surprised that CJ Johnson is the last man standing from the MS home run. After all his tweets it is really mezmorising.

but for whatever reason went up there and got on that sinking ship. I never worry about Ole Miss taking a player and beating us with him, it's more that they slow our progress by being in the way.

If they get kicked off the team, then they are doing something you don't want them doing around your current players... Like Tobias, good talent bad attitude. Bad attitudes can be a cancer to your team if you don't have leadership, which I doubt Ole Miss has being so young of a team. I think that's why it's an even bigger blow that Shackelford is out this season, because he seemed like a great leader for the bears. </span></div>

He had two catches the entire year. He was a big contributor on special teams though. Maybe you're confusing him with Moncrief. Brassell was absolutely a huge loss. Supposedly he'll be back in December but who knows.

A kid can have all the physical tools in the world, but if he doesn't have a brain, they're (physical tools) really not much help.

For all the underhanded **** that went on with him and the others at Army game, it all wound up apparantly saving us a shitload of heartburn in the long run.

I looked at Central Arkansas for a minute this evening. They aren't that bad, took La Tech into overtime last year before losing, went 9-4 losing second round of the FCS playoffs.. They may be equal to Jacksonville State, and this Ole Miss team is certainly worse than the 2010 one. I don't think it will happen, but it's no lock not to either.
